Who Will Stop "Lamont Williams" from Stealing The Election? On Monday, the Supreme Court allowed states to reinstate an anti-democratic poll tax in the form of a state-issued ID. The justification was Republican charges of "voter fraud" which occurs about as often as Haley's Comet visits the earth. But here's a real case of fraud, courtesy of Shaun Dakin:
This is clear-cut fraud. But right now it's impossible for citizens to trace robocalls and report them to prosecutors. Update 1: Mystery solved. The calls were made by Women's Voices, Women Vote, a nonpartisan group trying to register 1 million unmarried women in 24 states, including NC. Late ID registration
This is so incredible.......it looks like 'someone' is trying to pull some strings - anything - to curb a new wave of Democratic voters.
How could a new law be passed so close to their primaries?!
ID - OK but not so near to primary day. Isn't there a statute of limitations on this? In this election year, it should have been thought of at, the least, in January.
NOT FAIR !
In the next few days,
In the next few days, you will receive a voter registration packet in the mail
Why would they be receiving them in the next few days if the deadline is past. Are we to believe that Lamont went to the trouble of mailing out packets after the deadline and then calling to tell people to return them.
If the deadline is past, it looks like this is a wasted call since no action would serve the same purpose.
Who's mailing out the forms???
