The Iraq War Will Cost Us $3 Trillion, and Much More

There is no such thing as a free lunch, and there is no such thing as a free war. The Iraq adventure has seriously weakened the U.S. economy, whose woes now go far beyond loose mortgage lending. You can't spend $3 trillion -- yes, $3 trillion -- on a failed war abroad and not feel the pain at home.

**This does not even take into account all of the liberties we have lost since Bush/Cheney were in office nor the lies they told and the abuses on every level they carried out at will with wanton abandon and no regard for the Constitution of the United States they swore to uphold and defend.

Now I personally have had enough and would like to say out loud to all these Republicans and radio personalities leaning to the right as well as all the fat bankers and fat corporate executives asking for handouts and passing out bonuses or passing the wealth around frivolously, "Sit Down and Shutup".....You had your chance and now look at the mess you left in your right wing wake......
