National Call-In Day for Impeachment: Congressman Conyers Is Waiting for a Push to Start Impeachment Hearings Call: 202-225-5126

New Hampshire State Representative Betty Hall has introduced a resolution in support of impeachment (HR 24), and a public hearing is scheduled for February 19th at 1 PM at the Legislative Office Building behind the New Hampshire State Capitol in Rooms 305-307.

Please join Hall, her colleagues, and citizens from all over New England for the rally in front of the State House at 12 Noon on February 19th.

WA STATE LOBBY DAY FOR IMPEACHMENT

Personal lobbying -- just as fun as Halloween, and candy on every desk! Please join us at the State Capitol in Olympia on Tuesday, February 5th, 2008, 10:00 am -3:00 p.m., for a day of impeachment lobbying. Join us for an hour or all day.

We will meet in the cafeteria on the capitol campus at 10:00 am to distribute materials and team up. Someone will meet late comers at the cafeteria at 11:30. We will visit the offices of legislators, "pink slip" legislators in session, and deliver information.

The most important items on the legislative agenda are SJM 8016 and HJM 4027. There can be no business as usual as long as our rights and system of government are under attack. We must hold legislators to their oaths.

One of the Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee who might be expected to join nine of his colleagues led by Rep. Robert Wexler in calling for Cheney impeachment hearings but who has not yet done so is Virginia Congressman Bobby Scott.

We will be gathering at Leimert Park between 9:00 and 9:30 a.m, to walk the sidelines and leaflet the crowd (200,000+) as they wait for the parade to begin. Please make sure to arrive early and to give yourself enough time for parking!

• We will still come back to Leimert Park for the festival after the parade and do more outreach there. The parade starts at 11 a.m. on Western and Crenshaw. The festival afterward will begin around noon.
  

In celebration of White Rose Coalition's recent visibility successes on 01/01/08, LANIC is throwing a pre-Martin Luther King Day outreach party via the White Rose Impeachment Troupe as we march in Pasadena's Doo Dah Parade Sunday, Jan. 20th!

Look for and follow the Chain Gang Bobbleheads! The parade starts at 11:30 a.m. on Raymond St/Holly St intersection, goes South to Colorado, west to Pasadena Avenue, north toward Union Street and ends about mid-block.

Bring your banners, impeachment signs, wear orange, wear your "impeach" ponchos and tee shirts, your Impeach Bush Cheney baseball caps, your buttons -- and IMPROVISE and have a good time!

We'll have pamphlets to pass out to parade watchers on the sidelines, we'll have the fabulous BOBBLE HEADS! There'll be "Bush" with a megaphone spouting idiocies of the idiot, and maybe Cheney by his side, and whatever other ingenious activity you can think of.

Rep. Robert Wexler (FL19) is leading the charge to push the House Judiciary Committee to begin impeachment hearings. He has already collected more than 185,000 signatures on his online petition and is now gathering signatures among his colleagues on a letter he has written to Rep. John Conyers, chair of the Judiciary Committee, which asks the committee begin impeachment hearings forthwith.
