FL, Tampa: Peace and Justice Action at the Super BowlPeace and Justice Action at the Super Bowl There is going to be a protest in Tampa on Sunday to let the Superbowl crowd know that we want to restore peace and justice. If you're interested, the protestors are going to gather at the ABC Liquors store on the west side of Dale Mabry just north of I-275 between 11 and noon. There's plenty of parking there in the Target plaza, 1544 N Dale Mabry Hwy. Then, we are going to march up the west side of Dale Mabry to an area just across from the stadium. Bring your favorite peace and/or justice sign, and spread the word to your contacts. Right now the organizer has over 70 people who have confirmed that they will be there, but with 2,000,000 people in the Tampa Bay Area, I hope that we can do a lot better than that. Remember, even if you can't make it, you can tell your contacts. Take action to help restore peace and justice. |

VA, Vienna: Experience Dan Reed's inspirational, wonderful music liveExperience Dan Reed's inspirational, wonderful music live With Florida-based LIQUID MUSIC GROUP's upcoming release of the new Dan Reed CD "Coming up for Air", Dan presents a group of songs that mirror this life journey. With songs composed from Hong Kong to New Dehli, Jerusalem to London, he has come full circle to do what he has always done best--create, and most importantly... to sing to all who will listen. "What I have learned most on this path is that music brings people together and in a world of war, corruption, disease, and environmental destruction... 'together' is a good direction. I am constantly inspired and hopeful for the future of music. It is an amazing playground to feel connected inside and out. This creative journey has been a very wild and harrowing ride, but the view has been worth the price of admission." |

"Thinking Big, Thinking Forward" ConferenceAs Barack Obama takes office, our first priority is to help him revive the economy. But we also have to get America thinking even bigger, and thinking forward about a long-term strategy for prosperity that is sustainable. Please join us on Wednesday, February 11 to move that agenda forward. The post-bubble economic crisis has led most Americans to reject the conservative mantra that "government is the problem." Today we are demanding that Congress pass a bold economic recovery plan that can spur growth and create jobs. But if we succeed, our job will have just begun. If we don’t want to return to another cycle of speculative bubbles followed by disastrous busts, we need to come up with a bold strategy for sustainable 21st century prosperity. |
