They want Specter to cut off funding for the U.S. occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan and to bring the troops home now. On this date in 1961, the Cuban people defeated 1,400 private U.S. security contractors who had invaded Cuba's southern coast four days earlier at the Bay of Pigs. |
