Please participate in the April Iraq Town Hall for Virginia 8th Congressional District and help defeat passage of the proposed $102 billion Iraq Supplemental Appropriations Bill.
Congressman Dennis Kucinich has agreed to speak at this Town Hall.
Jim Moran (VA-*th), who is on the Defense Subcommittee of the House Appropriations Committee and will play a major role in this legislation, has been asked to speak.
Neither the content nor the schedule for the supplemental has been made public. Apparently, the Democrat leadership (Pelosi, Reid, Hoyer, Obey, Murtha, etc.) are planning to secretly discuss it the week of April 7, have it marked up on April 16 in an open session in Room 2359 Rayburn House Office Building and sent to the floor for a vote before the end of April.
Early next week Dennis K. will tell when he is available and we will promulgate the time and location which could be as early as April 13.
