On 5/10/07, Rep. Ben Chandler betrayed the voters and troops of Kentucky's 6th Congressional District by voting to continue George Bush's disastrous Iraq War forever.

Democrats.com is looking for an "aggressive progressive" Democrat who will challenge Chandler in a Democratic primary in 2008.

Impeachment Committee

I believe George Bush and Dick Cheney should be impeached for violating the Constitution and breaking the law. I am particularly upset that they:
- lied about Iraq to start a war
- allowed torture of prisoners
- gave corrupt no-bid contracts to their rich friends
- wiretapped our phones and emails without a warrant

I would like to propose a time and place when local activists can conveniently meet. Perhaps one Saturday afternoon in the Hamburg shopping area in Lexington, KY?
