On 5/10/07, Rep. Allen Boyd betrayed the voters and troops of Florida's 2nd Congressional District by voting to continue George Bush's disastrous Iraq War forever.

Democrats.com is looking for an "aggressive progressive" Democrat who will challenge Boyd in a Democratic primary in 2008.

Tallahassee Human Rights and Impeachment Day 10DEC2006

Our local Vets for Peace and Tallahassee Network for Justice and Peace organizer, Tom Baxter, has set up a Human Rights and Impeachment Day rally to coincide with the regular Sunday vigil in front of the old Capitol on N. Monroe and Appalachee Pkwy. Sunday 12:30- 2:30PM.

We have an active group called The Democratic Executive Committee, headed by Chair Jeffrey Dykes. We meet weekly (until the November elections are over) at the TCC Conference Room.
