CA, Orange: Protest Colin Powell at Chapman UniversityTorturer's School to Thank Man Who Helped Lie Us into War and Helped Micromanage Torture Colin Powell to be honored at Chapman University in Orange County, Calif., Saturday, March 28th Reception and keynote is at 6 p.m. Dinner is at 7 p.m. Powell will be the keynote speaker at the dedication reception of the Global Citizens Gala of the opening of the Global Citizens Plaza. Tickets start at $1,500 if you want to attend this "cocktail attire" event. We need to be there in full force. We will begin assembling at 4:45 p.m. at the Circle. At 5:15 p.m. we will begin our march to the Chapman University entrance on Glassell Street. This will give us at least 30 minutes to "greet the guests." Bring your signs, make some up. Remember what Powell did to launch the Iraq war, and that he was one of the principles approving of torture under the "legal" cover provided by Yoo and others. Learn how to make a citizen's arrest. ***** |
