I propose we meet noon Saturday June 16, at the Sierra Vista Library. We could then see who is interested. Despite the will of the vast majority of her constituants to end the Iraq war, Giffords just voted "yes" on 2 congressional bills that contiue to fund the Iraq war.
Please respond if you would like to help plan and/or participate in an event within the next 3 weeks to kick off one or both of the following:
1) a campaign to replace the "Pro-Iraq-War Giffords" with an "Anti-Iraq-War/Pro-Impeach-Bush & Cheney Candidate"
2) signing and soliciting signatures on an "Impeach Bush & Cheney" petition.

On 5/10/07, Rep. Gabrielle Giffords betrayed the voters and troops of Arizona's 8th Congressional District by voting to continue George Bush's disastrous Iraq War forever.

Democrats.com is looking for an "aggressive progressive" Democrat who will challenge Giffords in a Democratic primary in 2008.

Where is all the money coming from for the ads trashing Gabrielle? The "Paid for by . . ." info doesn't help. Does anyone know what the latest polls are showing re Randy Graf's chances. It would be tragic if he were to win, but I think some will vote for him on the "keep the GOP in control" theory.
