Washington State Mobilizing Against Corporate Election Buying
TWO SEATTLE EVENTS, Thursday, March 4, 2010
The Supreme Court’s ruling in Citizens United is just the latest – and most blatant – example that corporations have hijacked our government. The ruling leaves ordinary citizens little opportunity to participate in making the fundamental decisions that affect our lives. Corporations are using our legal system against us.
IT’S TIME FOR A PEOPLE’S MOVEMENT
We must amend the U.S. Constitution to affirm that only real people, not corporations, are entitled to constitutional protections.
Riki Ott and David Cobb will facilitate a community dialogue on how our community can join the movement to abolish corporate personhood.

Its time to help in the grass roots effort to gain signatures for Initiative 1001. Please view the website: www. votehope.wordpress.com. Also, you may see I-1001 in its official cpacity at http://www.secstate.wa.gov/elections/initiatives/people.aspx?y=2008 . Our state is ready for this. Get it on the ballot, and it WILL pass!
Wahington Voting
Ok, so when does the ballots get mailed out for the election? We are new to this state. We like that we can vote by mail because there are no lines, no machines, no "hanging chads", etc
