Incrementalism

Charles E. Lindblom long ago accurately described change in American politics. He called it "The Theory of Muddling Through" and his thesis is that political change occurs very, very slowly, but it does change over time.

Keep that in mind, please, when we see Obama shift towards the center. That is how you get elected in the USA. He is ranked the most liberal/progressive in the US Senate, and his career and votes have reflected a very left of center agenda.

This is all for the best. Spend that escrow money on Obama soon!

YOU GET THE ENERGY YOU VOTE FOR

State and local governments are encouraging the production of clean reliable energy for homes, businesses, farms and factories. Local people are using local resources, such as wind, solar, farm and forestry feed stocks, and municipal waste to generate electricity and make biofuels. This activity creates jobs, stimulates the local economy and makes us more secure.

On the other hand, the federal government lags far behind and the reason can be found right here in New Mexico. While the Governor, the State Legislature, Public Service Company of New Mexico and entrepreneurs work for clean energy, our Republicans in Washington work against us. Sen. Pete Domenici and Reps. Heather Wilson and Steve Pearce put their support of the fossil fuel industry above local interests and national security. They’ll vote against clean air, clean water, land and wildlife conservation if it means more profits for drilling and mining interests. Clean energy amendments to the Energy Bill made by Democrat Jeff Bingaman were eliminated behind closed doors by Pete Domenici.

what to look for at the polls??

I have volunteered to be a poll watcher in this Nov. 7th election. A representative from the county called me today and asked if I would be the "presiding Judge " for our voting location. She said that I would be trained for this job.
My question is, "What should I look out for at the polls in terms of fraud?"
Thank you...I appreciate any advise.
