Does anyone know if this is an invitational meeting only?  I would love to listen in, but dont want to volunteer because I dont have that much time to spare.

Any town hall meetings set up for Long Beach?

As far as I have seen, Barbara Boxer is a fine Senator with guts and chutzpah to do the right thing. I have never been so glad I voted for any elected official as I have for Barbara Boxer. Undoubtedly her seat will be heavily targeted in the upcoming election because the Republicans would love to gat rid of someone with her courage, honesty and verve. Support her re-election! We can't afford to lose her.

I was at the anti-war rally on 3/15 with ANSWER LA, I think we need to follow up with Buy Nothing Day to protest the war & the consumer economy based on imports from China. We also need to go on strike for a day, not go to work to protest.

Dear California... a report from the Draft Movement and their CA Primary Ballot Campaign

We are in the halfway mark of the ballot effort. It's been real interesting meeting people, listening to their comments and learning how to work the political system from the grassroots levels. I recommend it to everyone to get involved with this effort as it will open your eyes to what is really been felt and said by us regular Americans.

Right now in my area I am pushing for voter registration along with our nomination papers. You can't believe how many people don't know their address has to be updated every time they move, some people don't even know what party they are. So we working on correcting these problems.

I wish this experience could go on a long time, but alas, we must stop Dec. 4.

We are looking for volunteers, money and properly registered CA Democrats with a little moxy, imagination and political will. Are YOU one?

We have formed an active group in Davis, Ca (Sacramento Valley) and would like to join with other Ca congressional districts. We have copies of Bill Moyers' prgram on impeachment to send out to your districts, along with overheads on how the impeachment process works. Our next meeting will be on Thursday, 8/16 at 7 PM, Davis public library, Blanchard Room.
