a recent pbs tv telecast featuring a man whose name I didnot get giving something like fifteen or more reasons why bush should be impeached was terrific.It was friday evening, december 21, about 11pm or later, broadcast over a pbs netwrk in northern california. Ferguson's new documentary on our government's occupation of Iraq, No End in Sight, shows how the Bush administration destroyed the Iraqi government and then actively precluded any form of meaningful governance, with the inevitable result of chaos, mass death, and insurgency.

In the documentary, high-ranking officials provide strong testimony to the effect that the destruction of Iraq is the result of deliberate arrogance and negligence by Donald Rumsfeld, Dick Cheney, Paul Wolfowitz, and L. Paul Bremer III, among others.  I believe that their actions constitute mass negligent homicide by any reasonable standard.  Ferguson's documentary clearly establishes probable cause and provides much of the evidence needed to convict.

"Ms. Miers has absolute immunity from compelled congressional testimony as to matters occurring while she was a senior adviser to the president," White House Counsel Fred Fielding wrote in a letter to Miers' lawyer, George T. Manning.

I was thinking about this and started a list....it made me feel better.

Queens/Bronx Congressman Tells Community Leaders "The American People are Ahead of Congress" on Ending War in Iraq

Jackson Heights- On Thursday, April 12, eight community leaders met with Congressman Joseph Crowley (D-NY) to discuss the war in Iraq and holding President Bush and Vice-President Cheney accountable for violations of the Constitution and other crimes.

The delegation included members of a variety of organizations including Democrats.com, Progressive Democrats of America, Sunnyside-Woodside Peace, World Can't Wait—Drive Out the Bush Regime and other community leaders. They urged the Congressman to introduce legislation to pull all U.S. military personnel out of Iraq immediately and to impeach Bush and Cheney for war crimes.

Taking a page from history, in 2007 AD, Stehen Johnson, EPA administrator acting under King George W. Bush, has begun closing the EPA scientific libraries, destroying and/or warehousing their documents.  The Union of Concerned Scients makes the following immediate request:

Please call EPA Administrator Stephen Johnson at (202) 564-4700 either today or Monday and tell him how much scientists rely on data and literature. Urge him to immediately halt the dismantling of the library system until Congress approves the EPA budget and all materials are readily available online. [link]

What an interesting claim. It was Digby who points us to the Dallas Observer in 1999:

The challenge was to guess which word his brother had intentionally left out.

I think Rove may be possessed of what my father would refer to as a "convenient forgetter."

Last week a revelation came to light that Georgey actually laid hands on and slapped Karl upside the head when he found out that he was in on the CIA leak , If I'm correct this was back in 03 ?? Wasn't it also in 03 when George got his face marked in a pretzel accident ?? Could it be that the boys got into a little fistacuff while at the ranch , I always thought that passing out on a pretzel was a little far fetched , so C'mon you timeline slueths can we put these two incidents together ??
