Why won't YOUR representative sign on for impeachment?

I've read lots of reasons why particular congressional representatives won't support impeachment. Some are quite speculative and personal about a representative, and others are quite general, like "He/she supports Bush all the way." Others politics over the Constitution.

So, here's a chance to tell what you know about why your congressional representative won't support impeachment.

Do they (or their family members) have business dealings that could be compromised?
Could Bush have dirt on them?
Are they worried about retaining their congressional seat?
Are they afraid not to maintain "party discipline" for fear of retribution from "Impeachment is off the table, Nancy?"
In short, what could their motivation be for not supporting impeachment after Friday's House Judiciary Committee hearing?

Be sure to include the name and if possible the congressional district of your representative.

Let's bring their reasons out in the open to see if the reasons conform to the Constitution, or are basically self-serving or self-dealing.

And while we're at it, please check out Representative Kucinich's petition for impeachment which he'll personally present. Find it at: http://www.kucinich.us/ and forward the link to your family and friends.

We will gather again this Thursday, June 19th to bear witness to the lack of response from our elected official Rep. Earl Blumenauer

Why?

We go because we demand Justice. There is no peace without Justice, only capitulation. We go each Thursday because it is our responsibility to tell our representative we will not stand by and watch this occupation go on and on. We go because we are veterans, teachers, lawyers, grandparents, mothers, fathers, daughters and citizens of this country. We go because we are not watchers, we are activists in many other areas and this is just one of the events that we go to on Thursday. We go because we weep for our lost rights under the constitution and are “Pissed Off.” We will stay until the war criminals are out of the White House or Blumenauer calls for Impeachment, Indictment and Incarceration of the Bush gang.

Representative Bean seems unable to understand what her responsibilities to us are. If she cannot or will not do what is necessary, she must be replaced. Does anybody out there agree?

Stop Funding the War!

TOWN HALL

Sunday, April 20th

There will be a town hall meeting in Portland on Sunday April 20th as part of a national movement to try to stop the funding, AGAIN, of this madness called, "The Occupation of Iraq." The town hall will be held at 4312 SE Stark (Friends Meeting House) from 6-8 PM.

We must make a record-----We, the people of Oregon tried everything to stop this madness! Come and speak! The event will be video taped and copies of the video will be hand delivered in the Portland area and mailed to the district offices of other Representatives. There will be copies sent to the local and national media.

You will have an opportunity to face your representatives in person or via video to tell them to stop all funding of the war and vote no on the upcoming supplemental

SUPPLEMENTAL WHAT???

All Oregon's representatives and candidates will be invited to listen and answer your questions. Those who come will be treated with respect, however, they must hear our voices to stop all funding of the occupation of Iraq.

This is your chance to say, "Enough!"

I am writing to let people know that I want to see our Rep to Congress replaced. He votes for any bill pushed at him by George W. I haven't found any individual thout in any of his voting record.
