The Washington County Democratic Committee has before it a resolution to endorse HR 676. 

It is the same as the Columbia County Resolution, and I urge all counties in the 20 CD to get on board and  

urge Scott Murphy to stick his neck out a wee bit and support it. If you need a copy, email me and I'll send it along.

Dear Honorable Congressmen:
 
Tomorrow is a significant opportunity for change in our country.   You will
have the opportunity to vote for Representative Anthony Weiner's House
Bill HR 676.   I ask each of you to support this bill for many different reasons
that I have not heard addressed in the media to date.
 
First and foremost, what we do for the least of those, we do for the greater good.

The compromise in the House is not real Healthcare reform. Although our country desperately needs Healthcare reform just supporting any bill offered is not progress. After Corporate Democrats and Republicans have gotten a hold of the bills in the House and Senate they are so watered down that they will not be anything that will do much good.

They convienently ignore the real problems in the healthcare industry due to complaints from the very folks who profit handsomely by the status-quo.

Reports coming out about the "compromise" with the treasonous Blue Dogs in the House and with like minded stooges in the "House of Lords" known as the United States Senate should be completely unacceptable to those of us who seek real progress for real people in this country.

Of course the Corporate controlled media touted this as "sweeping reform":

 hi. only two things need to be said over and over.  we are already paying for national healthcare in our hospital e.r.'s. the savings from sending people to the dr. instead of the e.r. would pay for healthcare 10 times over. its that simple. every thing is getting confused by b.s. politics. THINK.  jails are also used for healthcare. somebody help. spread the word. the other issue about gov't. running anything....social security is there every month. it just ain't enough. but it IS well run.

In my opinion, I am finding difficult to understand how a congressional body of individuals can use the concept of Universal healthcare by labeling it " socialism " when the same Congressional body uses a likeness healthcare system called " The medical pool " funded by tax dollars , used by each individual congressional member. The Republican opinion is one of a double standard, when reality dictates that such a program exists for all members of a congressional body regardless of party affiliation .

The loony birthers are trying to get rid of Obama like they tried on Clintion! The Clinton sex scandal never happened! It was Newt Gingrich who had the BJ!

Okay I shouldn't have said They Got 0 Plans, they have one plan, it is to try to get rid of Obama! They're purposely trying to make him fail and not care about this country leading into the right path under Obama! The GOP have screwed up Clinton from killing Osama bin Laden and lead us to 9/11 by railing on him about the Monica Sex scandal. Now these GOP are tying to hide their sex scandals by railing Obama with his Birth Certificate! This is just crazy!
