Predatory lending is the lowest of the low. Ranks right up there with mob loan sharks.
Saying it is a legitimate business, somehow just does not make it right.
Yet it gets help from corker of Tennessee to exemp it from financial regulations.
We must insist this practice that has ruined many lives, be controlled just like all banking or lending institutions.
Call and insist it be returned to the proposed legislation.

Thumbing their noses at flyers rights
If they are willing to do this they should be boycotted until they change their minds.
If all the airline companies try this the people need to conduct a stop flying period.
I realize it would cause job loses but if the people do not stand together, the companies will.

More than enough jobs to go around
If you are willing to commute to China. Too bad we are not trying to keep our jobs here or bring them back.
At least at the rate jobs are leaving here, it will not be long before we will be willing to work for less than Chinese workers.
Because they own us, we are afraid to change import, export laws to counter their dominance that was created by our own so called American Companies.

America's Health Care Reform
While we might want eveything that was fought for, for now we need to back our leaders to pass as much as possible.
We can fight for the rest later, but if nothing gets accomplished, the republicans win the fight.
There are some very good ideas trying to be passed that will start the snowball of health reform rolling in this country. Just as other important reforms started.
Please try and be subjective about what its possible to be passed right now.
Our Party (All US Democrats) is dependent on passing some reforms to health care now.
Hummer Bummer
NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- General Motors' deal to sell its Hummer brand to a Chinese automaker fell through Wednesday and the company said it now plans to shut down the brand.
Good, It would just have become a symbol of Chinese control of U.S..
Was fun though to watch all the rich people buy them with tax breaks from us taxpayers.
Maybe we can still sell them the replacement building for World Trade Center.
Some here do love China's ownership of this country.
Prioritizing Our Rage
Almost every blog here is about being against the wars we are fighting. Both wars already have a exit plan with dates, yet this is all we seem to care about lately.
If they all came back tomorrow there would not be anywhere to put them to work.
Where is all of the outrage and insisting that our so called American companies that keep buying from China and selling to us, be taxed more to stop the practice before all jobs are lost.
If the truth were known how much markup there is on that garbage from China by our wonderful so called American companies, we would vomit. Yet we have no choice but to buy it because, lets face it there is nothing else left American made here in America.
We need a little less trying to stop wars that are scheduled to stop already and worry about finding jobs for the troops when they come home, I am sure they would appreciate that.
