Kos is a Koward II

On 1/5/06 I asked, "Why is Kourageous Kos afraid to support the impeachment of George Bush and Dick Cheney?"

Today, Kos denounced Bush's dictatorial seizure of power in this post:

More King George

Ahh, this is why Bush has never vetoed any bills:

[snip]

Bush doesn't veto bills because in his view, he doesn't have to; he can simply ignore the ones he doesn't like.

[snip]

Seriously, why doesn't King George just dissolve Congress and get it over with.

Obviously Kos sees the problem - Bush believes he is a dictator.

So why is Kos afraid of the solution - impeachment?

Does he think it will hurt Democratic candidates?

Long before the NSA wiretapping scandal and the bill signing scandal, a solid majority (53%-42%) of Americans supported impeachment. This support includes Democrats, Independents, and Republicans.

That means impeachment isn't just good policy, it's good politics too.

So why is Kos afraid to call for impeachment?

Is it because impeachment is unpopular among the Washington elites - both cowardly Democrats and the Rove-controlled media?

I thought Kos hates the Washington elites. So why is he behaving just like one?
