I want to help DC participate in the national effort to deliver a strong statement calling for Impeachment.

We are geographically dense, small, well organized politically into neighborhoods, and 75% Democrat. It seems to me possible that we could mount a neighborhood outreach city wide and get volunteers from each neighborhood to carry petitions door to door on evenings and weekends.

It would be terriffic if we could "hit the ground running" with a well organized effort that takes shape and can be widely announced with the April 28th kick off.

Events and ongoing parties should accompany the drive as the effort builds over time.

This is an issue supported by most of the nation, for once we can be on the winning side of an issue.

We have an activity planned at the base of the Washington monument for April 28th and will need 1000 people to turn out for the event. We will organize supporters to lay down on the grass and with their bodies to spell out the word IMPEACH! A photographer will take a photo of the event from the top of the monument with the capitol in the back ground. www.bodiescount.org We might also do a Town Hall Wall event at the Smithsonian that weekend. www.townhallwall.org
