Slowly but surely, the overwhelming weight of Evidence is forcing Dick Cheney to acknowledge Reality. 

On Monday, Dick Cheney told FOX's Greta Van Susteren there was "never any evidence" linking Saddam to 9/11:

On the question of whether or not Iraq was involved in 9/11, there was never any evidence to prove that. There was some reporting early on, for example, that Mohammed Atta had met with a senior Iraqi intelligence official. But that was never borne out.

The "Atta" meeting that supposedly took place in Prague was all over our newspapers and TV for months, but was just another Neocon Big Lie. (Neocon William Safire wrote endless columns about it in the "liberal" NY Times.)

Since there was no real link between Saddam and 9/11, Cheney ordered Afghanistan prisoners to be tortured to create a false link.
