the problem to me in the healthcare bill is first, tax now and benefits 4 years from now, makes no sense. how much will healthcare cost me under this bill? i'm a senior so when you say you are going to cut back medicare i hope you dont think i'm going to like it, medicare is not great as is. i'm 73 so waiting 4 years for the benefits doesn't appeal to me plus my wife and i both have pre-existing conditions. no representative costs have been proffered to my knowledge and the antitrust exemption for insurance companies should have been dropped long ago, so if you are serious about healthcare do that first, see how it works out then phase in other provisions and see how they work. a big sticking point is in the bill is the provision on" you cant ever change anything in the bill" even if it cause's problems.
