On 5/10/07, Rep. Steny Hoyer betrayed the voters and troops of Maryland's 5th Congressional District by voting to continue George Bush's disastrous Iraq War forever.

Democrats.com is looking for an "aggressive progressive" Democrat who will challenge Hoyer in a Democratic primary in 2008.

How about Jamie Raskin -- elected in 2006 to the Maryland legislature?

Raskin would have to move...

... or establish primary residency in Hoyer's CD. Raskin lives in Van Hollen's CD (MD-8) -- I happen to know because he lives a block or so from me.
