Have emailed John Salazar several times without response. I enjoyed helping to get him elected. Am thinking it will be equally enjoyable working to help elect someone else in his place.

Salazar has been on the wrong side of too many votes for him to even call himself a Democrat. We need somebody In the office, with his heart ,Outsde the office, and the beltway. The Iraq war is the singularly largest blunder, ever perpetrated by an American President. The US needs to remove our presence from this bloodletting immediately. We need someone to remind these career politicians collecting lint from corporations back pockets just exactly who they are working for. Im not sure if Im the right person for the job, but perhaps knowing that makes me perfect. I do know that money and power and bombastic speeches do not impress me, only actions do. There is a simple formula for America that will get us on the right track again. End The war, Pass comprehensive Campaign finance reform, and restore the Constitution to its full power and weight in government. If I were to run and win against Ken. I would go to DC with a note in my wallet. It would Say simply, “We the People.” and in those words I would know which way to vote on every issue. We The People...........................I wouldn’t run on a Get Ken Out platform, I would run on a pledge and oath to simply do the right thing. I flown too long and far in this belief to ever be swayed by greed temptation or pressure. On his home page John Salazar proudly links to the "Blue Dog Coalition" though Bush-Dog is a more apt term. Given the rural nature of the district it may be hard to replace Salazar with a progressive Democrat. Some might say that replacing Salazar in the primary or even just damaging him could put a Republican into the position and I say "your point is?". Right now the high number of DINOs in the part are giving it a bad name. Everyone hears that the Dems are in control of both houses and yet the legislation that is produced differs little from the previous Congress. This is because the Bush-dogs prevent the Democratic majority from passing legislation that is supported by the majority of the Democratic representatives, the overwhelming majority of Democratic voters and by majorities of the American people. If DINOs like Salazar are going to vote like Republicans they should have the honesty to run as Republicans. Otherwise they given substance to the claim that there isn't a dime's bit of difference between the GOP and the Democratic party. Let's shoot for getting rid of this Salazar in '08 and the other one (Alberto Gonzales's good buddy) in 2010!
