On 5/10/07, Rep. Harry Mitchell betrayed the voters and troops of Arizona's 5th Congressional District by voting to continue George Bush's disastrous Iraq War forever.
Democrats.com is looking for an "aggressive progressive" Democrat who will challenge Mitchell in a Democratic primary in 2008.

Looking for write-in name against Harry Mitchell
If anyone has a good write-in name for someone who is genuinely interested in taking Mitchell's seat, please let us know! I am sick that the Democratic Party of Maricopa County has not supported a candidate who will NOT let the voters, our soldiers, citizens of other countries, and our Constitution down. Mitchell's ads make me furious - like he is a big supporter of veterans. Yeah, he pretends to support them after he supports their injuries and deaths overseas.
