We request your address so (a) we can identify your Representatives; (b) your Representatives can verify that you live in their district; (c) your Representatives can send you a reply. If you are a U.S. citizen living abroad, use your U.S. voting address (usually your last U.S. address even if you no longer get mail there.)

Sections (2) and (3) are purely optional. We hope you'll use (3) to tell your friends because the more people who sign our petitions, the more Congress will listen to us.

You should expect a reply from your Representatives by email or snail mail. If you do not, call their office at 202-225-3121 and ask why they have not responded to your constituent email.
