The world have noted with interest the collapse of American democracy before the corrupt and ideologically bankrupt right. The justice department will be poisoned for decades to come, just for starters.

I also have to lay the failure of our country to respond to impending global overpopulation and environmental issues at the feet of our administration, as well as the damage the Iraq war has caused to our military and economy, and the corrupt relationships they have had with the oil industry which have worsened our dependency on foreign oil and caused the huge run-up in gas prices (and, coincidentally, oil company profits).

Before the RNC, I had not seen a single McCain sign or bumper sticker but they started showing up afterwards. Maybe people were just wanting to know it was OK for them to be an idiot... so maybe we just need to show people that you can be for impeachment and not be locked away in a detention camp.

Crime committed on individual level can be pardoned. But a crime which inflict whole nation by one person or group of people is not fare to be pardoned. The harm which has been inflicted on the nation is going to be remembered by generation
and the nation is going to suffer for a long time.
We American at this moment has been given an opportunity to chose the leader of our nation. Although the public is suffering and facing all kind of sufferings, we must use our voting right cent percent in this historical election which could be a turning point to our destiny. The issues which are facing the nation is so complicated and intermingled that only will and determination of a sincere, devoted patriotic and selfish leader with the unity of the public can save this country. Let us be united and use our voting power to choose
our new president. American people are great, American history has proved it in so many occasion of our national democratic heritage.

I agree with the critics of the illicit Bush actions, but prefer to look forward constructively instead of bogging down while Republicans retrench to skirmish on old thresholds. Rather, we need to ask congress to get creative and examine ways to prevent another Yoo memo from serving as the 'piece of paper' that some future president can use to offset the constitution as yet another 'piece of paper'. Why give people on the reactionary right fringe the opportunity to shout more atavistic aphorisms. Just close the gaps in process that let the exiting administration do what it did. Take new measures to assure science is not edited and politicized. Reinstall all the computers in the executive so never again are millions of emails erased to protect scheming. We know the rap book. Just use it to create more rule of law. This will bring out the leadership of Democrats who are willing to see a new way forward, to strengthen what we have, and skip the pretense. There is too little time. We need a Supreme court that realizes global warming means those nine Justices, too. We need an auto bailout with controls, not gifts to cronies; and with retooling that is forward looking. The Democrats can do this better than the Republicans. The way is to change, with forward looking leadership which sees thru the veneer of sham issues.
