In his speech today, Bush was more challenged than usual.  He had his usual issue of trying to read his notes in a natural way, but today he had a problem just walking around.  He walked in with Laura holding onto him, and while Cheney introduced him, Bush stood with his arms just hanging straight down, his fingers twitching.  After his speech, he walked away from the podium a couple of steps, but then stopped and waited for Laura to come and hold his arm for an escort.  While they walked off the stage, he used his free hand to steady himself on a stage decoration.   He was either on a huge bender last night, or they didn't get his meds quite right today.  Scary to watch.
