or it must be a coincidence that these e-voting systems were rushed into place before this election.

These systems are so advanced they are 'secret'. Accessible by the Internet and controlled by a central unit. Rigging? Well. It wouldn't be the first time and with no-verifiable counting - and technology subject to hacking and virus, there are many many areas for 'upsets'

I have no faith in the current voting system.

Verifiable voting is a right and I want it back.

E-voting is NOT acceptable form of verifying and is subject to rigging.
These systems are put in place by corporations which are corrupt
(Diebold ES&S etc) and have come under scrutiny in the past. It's no
surprise the way the 2004 election results came in with 80% of the
population utlising one of their e-voting machines.

Let the counties count the vote and report it to the states. If it
takes a day or two for the states to report the results... so be it.
Democracy takes time. Meanwhile, we should bring back hand-counted
paper ballots and use computerized voting machines for confirmation
purposes only. If we don't take these precautions, we may continue to
have our corporate-owned media, corrupt government officials, and
crooked voting machine companies electing our leaders for us.

All but two counties in the Iowa Caucuses used DRE e-vote technology.
And we'll never be able to verify the results.

Guess dumb does describ some of these panaoid individuals posting here rather than who voted for Bush. Yep we must of lost because it was rigged. Can't understand how people in the US can't see what Michael Moore sees so clearly. How could over 55 million people not agree with me. Come on people get off the rigged election kick. Sore losers. When the liberal left can not get their way they begin making complaints and claiming wrong doing. Can't they just grow up and accept what is going on. If they really care about the issues, then they should stop complaining. They claim that the republicans are the dividers??? I am as disappointed as you are! I did not like the way Kerry just gave up. I would never have done that. Anyway, I have a question for you. Registered Democrats outnumber registered Republicans in every state. For example, in New York Demos may outnumber Repubs by 100:1 and in Wisconsin registered Demo's might outnumber Repubs by 2:1. The point is that there are many many more registered Democrats than Repubs. So how did Bush pull 51.00%? Convenient huh? and How did Edwards lose his home state?

I want to try to show election fraud. This could be accomplished by showing that the number of votes cast did not match the number of registered voters who turned out to vote for example. (assuming a 95% plus turnout)

How can I get the % of registered Democrats and Repubs for each state? I mean, where can I find these statistics. This would be a good start. There was in fact a very large turnout, I would surmise 95% plus on both sides and people stood in line for hours.

I am an evangelical, born-again, follower of Jesus. I also happen to believe that our president has done Jesus some major disservice, and I only pray that God will forgive him for that.

Jesus talked about the evils of money and concern for the poor and the oppressed more than any other topic. The president makes Christ look hypocritical and one dimensional. There are a lot of genuine Christians who are for the president, and I have to respect that. But, I believe that most people living in the "bible belt" don't have real faith, and think that talking a certain way or looking a certain way is how Christians earn salvation.

There are many, genuine, evangelical Christians living in New York City who try our best to follow God, and believe that we are called to be the voice for the voiceless, and an advocate for the powerless. Many of us care deeply about our environmental stewardship. We are distressed over corruption of power. Evangelicals are not all obsessed with school prayer or hanging Ten Commandments to the exclusion of more important issues such as lifting the poor and the oppressed.

I am so incredibly sad that those in the Religious Right have mingled partisan views with Christian doctrine.

I can't stay depressed over the election anymore. I'd like to find other Christians and contribute to the Democratic party's fight for the poor and the oppressed. If the Democratic party stops talking about this duty (as they have this election), they will lose the moral authority to the Republicans forever.

How can I start a group like that? Can anyone help?
