NEW YORK, March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Bloomberg News(R) today reported on the results of the latest Bloomberg/Los Angeles Times national public opinion poll, which shows that 54 percent of American's disapprove of President Bush's handling of terrorism -- marking a significant reversal in public sentiment from a year ago.
According to the Bloomberg/Los Angeles Times poll, support for Bush waned due to the administration's defense of the Dubai port deal and American frustration with the Iraq war. On Iraq, Bush has an approval rating of 34 percent in the Bloomberg/Los Angeles Times poll, down seven points since last month.
In addition, the Bloomberg/Los Angeles Times poll revealed that 64 percent of Americans think the country is headed in the wrong direction.
