MY VETO ON NSA SPYING: A STATEMENT OF THE OBVIOUS, and a call for the anthrax killer.

HOLDING HEARINGS ON THE MATTER OF WHETHER PRESIDENTIAL NSA SPYING HAS BEEN LAWFUL? There is NO QUESTION that these wiretaps were illegal.

To Senator Leahy: There is NO QUESTION that the president committed a high crime multiple times. No amount of hearings spouting propaganda to the contrary alters that fact. WE ALREADY KNOW CRIMES HAS BEEN COMMITTED. The hearings are a sinister attempt to weasel the president out of responsibility for them.

We are summoned to engage in a FALSE DEBATE, as no AMERICAN discussion can seriously consider the choice between DEMOCRACY and MONARCHY (an unconstitutional monarchy at that). We are summoned to hear the GOP tell us we must destroy our own Constitution. We are summoned to commit an act of treason.

I REFUSE TO COMMIT TREASON OR ACCEPT IT FROM OTHER ALLEGED AMERICANS. IT IS REJECTED OUTRIGHT.

AS AN AMERICAN I AFFIRM THE FOLLOWING:

The Founding Fathers specifically BARRED tyrants from occupying the office of the presidency. THERE IS NOTHING IN THE U.S. CONSTITUTION THAT ESTABLISHES A CHIEF EXECUTIVE UNACCOUNTABLE TO NO ONE.

The current occupant has confessed to a HIGH CRIME multiple times, without remorse, and has promised to continue his crime spree. He has thrown down the gauntlet that the fourth amendment is dead, and like the coward he is, he expects minions to argue him out of trouble for his felonies. The democrats are outnumbered and therefore being set up to "lose" the false debate by "democratic" process of being outvoted. Except the constitution is NOT a popularity contest.

They want us to commit political and historical suicide by attacking and destroying our own legacy, hard won and fought for by millions who gave their blood, sweat, tears, lives and mental health for it so that these contemporary parasites - enemies of America - could plot to destroy it all outright. This is treason AND this is sedition.

NOTHING IN THE US CONSTITUTION FORMS THE BASIS FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN UNCHECKED CHIEF EXECUTIVE VOYEUR. If there was, most of our founding documents would already have been destroyed for the sake of a simple, totalitarian monarchy. Advocates for the latter are encouraging the dis-establishment of the U.S. government as our founding fathers designed it. They are clear and present dangers to America, not a protector of her.

THIS IS A NATION OF LAWS, not a nation of men seeking to crush all laws except those that advance their agenda.

DEFICIT: The latter is a description of the tyrant. It is also a description of the current administration.

In the US Constitution, it is the CITIZENS who are sovereign, not the president.

We all have our checks and balances to bear. From what puniness does this executive claim to be overburdened by his?

DEFICIT: This is but further proof that the ability to do this job competently continues to elude this president and is likely the impetus for demanding infinite license to commit infinite unconstitutional acts - acts that have yielded nothing but failure.

GRANTING them this is unthinkable. It is unthinkable because not one American has the right to enslave themselves to tyranny. It is unthinkable because it is the renunciation of democracy itself, allegedly America’s greatest export and a common denominator with the many Western democracies that followed suit. It is unthinkable because the logistics of these demands are themselves a MAJOR THREAT TO NATIONAL SECURITY, not the least of which reason is the misappropriation of manpower, time and taxpayer funds.

There are now only 21 FBI agents assigned to the ANTHRAX CASE, 10 less than in 2005. Is this reduction attributable to the reassignment of agents to analyze thousands of hours of phone calls or computer hits? This wasted time cannot be recovered. It could have been spent more profitably on following actual leads and establishing mechanisms and channels of real communication.

Their goal was not to find a terrorist, but to execute a demonstration. Their goal is the same as the attackers of 9/11, the same as the anthrax killer. They want results NOW. They want absolute power NOW, and they are intent on terrorizing us into granting it. They are CLASSIC abusers, in league with all the wifekillers and serials killers that preceded them.

DEFICIT: This administration has actively cut off or terminated true leads, mechanisms and channels of communication vis-à-vis Plame and Khan, to name 2 instances that we know of. The president continues to harbor those we already know are implicated in outing this major CIA asset and the organization she worked for. This is criminal negligence or worse. It is patently ludicrous for them to characterize themselves as leaders in national security. Their record is one of utter and ignoble failure.

DEFICIT: This administration CONTINUES TO BE A THREAT TO OUR NATIONAL SECURITY. THE MORE PERSONNEL AND ENERGY THAT IS DEVOTED TO USELESS BUSY WORK, THE MORE OUR NATIONAL SECURITY IS DEPRIVED OF REAL SECURITY (a random FEW examples of which are listed further below).

We are made to suffer through their foolish and contrived “productions,” or the meaningless and unaccountable announcements of their lackeys. Who gives a damn if Sen. Roberts approves the presidential version of NSA spying? IS THE SENATOR WILLING TO GO ON RECORD that he recognizes the specific implications of his decision despite still coming down on the side of the presidential version of unitary power as the controlling argument?

Five of those implications, likely to become abuses, are listed below. Is Sen. Roberts willing to formally recognize their existence? If he is, we will have it on record that can be read by others – consent, fully informed. Just like when we are in the doctor's office, except this time we are in the anteroom of democracy.

If not, his declaration of support for his commander in chief is as worthless as it is cowardly.

Fools will always come up with fool answers. Even Christ couldn’t deal with fools. It is not possible to reasonably “engage” the kind of crackpot “arguments” we are hearing and have been promulgated since the beginning of time by men with evil intent.

CRACKPOT NOTION: Open-ended deprivation of privacy FOR ALL in the setting of even the most competent of administrations is unthinkable, let alone on behalf of a failed, secretive administration that refuses to cooperate with the true exercise of protecting America. Their secrecy and obstructionism is so profound, we cannot even reasonably rule them out as having involvement in 9/11, which should not be this difficult.

It is unfortunate that we have no useful remedy for this terrible situation. It is unfortunate because we have come to realize that impeachment, too, is but a crude political tool, not a meaningful one. The shunning would have to be threat-lethal.

THE U.S. IS A NATION OF LAWS THAT CIRCUMSCRIBE MANY AND HOPEFULLY PROTECT MANY. We are NOT SUPPOSED TO BE a nation OF A FEW who advance ONLY THE LAWS that serve their ends and CRUSH THOSE that interfere with them.
(Their efforts to learn who outed Plame were nonexistent; yet their fury for whistleblowers who justifiably outed THEM for treason provides a smoking-gun contrast).

EXAMPLES OF THIS ADMINISTRATION’S NATIONAL SECURITY FAILURES --

THEY HAVE COMPROMISED THE NATIONAL SECURITY OF MINERS BY REFUSING TO COOPERATE MEANINGFULLY WITH HEARINGS ON MINE SAFETY.

THEY HAVE COMPROMISED THE NATIONAL SECURITY OF CURRENT AND FUTURE DISASTER VICTIMS BY REFUSING TO COOPERATE MEANINGFULLY WITH HEARINGS ON HURRICANE KATRINA.

THEY COMPROMISED NATIONAL SECURITY WHEN THEY REFUSED TO ACCEPT THEIR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY TO PROTECT AMERICANS FROM THREATS IN THE MONTHS BEFORE 9/11. Between the inauguration and September 11, 2001, AMERICA LACKED ANY PROTECTION FROM THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH. THEY HAD TABLED THEIR INTEREST AND RESPONSIBILITY FOR IT. But national security CANNOT be tabled; it can only be walked away from and ignored. They were passed the baton and they tossed it aside. They made it clear what they were about from the start: Tax cutters and oil profiteers, and neither national security nor congressional oversight would stand in the way of their treasonous designs on enslaving the US Treasury, the US military and the American public to their private plunders. Elite deviance trumps Right to Know.

So the nation limped along DESPITE THIS CATASTROPHIC BREACH IN NATIONAL SECURITY, the RESULTS OF WHICH WERE MADE APPARENT on 9/11. Then AND ONLY THEN did the executive branch decide they wanted to be heroes of national security and the supreme leaders and champions of first responders. Even when THEY just HAPPENED TO BE THE LAST TO ARRIVE. Only NOW would they push to the head of the line to exert credit and control over the disaster they had enabled by their indifference and worse, to use the power of the office to demand respect to muscle people and press into line and from demanding their resignations en masse, which SHOULD HAVE BEEN TENDERED ON SEPTEMBER 12. FOR MONTHS THEY DEPRIVED THE NATION of the STANDARD known as CONTINUITY OF CARE in the grave matter of NATIONAL SECURITY. The press then allowed their criminal negligence to be rewarded with the fictitious narrative and entitlement they demanded, this unearned, even stolen reputation. They failed Americans and our first responders in every way possible, and now they were about to cannibalize them.

EXAMPLES:

THEY COMPROMISED NATIONAL SECURITY AFTER 9/11 (and logically raised our suspicions about them) BY REFUSING TO INVESTIGATE HOW IT HAPPENED. (unsworn testimony is unaccountable testimony, worthless testimony; no, not even worth LESS; worthNOTHINGATALL. What purpose was served by allowing them the fig leaf of testifying when the commission virtually gave them permission to lie and to stick together like partners-in-crime can only dream about? What were they thinking?).

THEY COMPROMISED THE NATIONAL (American) SECURITY OF AMERICAN FIRST RESPONDERS AND EVEN LOW-WAGE OFFICE WORKERS WHEN THEY DIRECTED A U.S. OVERSIGHT AGENCY TO LIE ABOUT THE AIR QUALITY AT GROUND ZERO. They compromised the security of ALL AMERICANS by corrupting one of our own agencies and implicating it in institutional homicide. This would not be an exaggeration to anyone suffering air hunger, or the survivors of these unnecessary medical casualties of 9/11. Whitman belongs on death row along with those who gave her the orders SHE SHOULD HAVE REJECTED OUTRIGHT.

On the evening of 9/11, the president gave an interview to a reporter in which he commented on the day in the past tense. But the day was not over in New York City where first responders were still working fiercely, tirelessly and CONTINUOUSLY (again that crucial word) THROUGHOUT the night and into the next day. Consider how the power of a president could have been USEFUL at that moment, had we been blessed with a REAL president in the office.

Consider the power of a president willing to stay up even a fraction of the night, the same night those first responders were working through, rounding up industrial-strength respiratory protection at a fraction of the costs of a week in Iraq, a fraction of the costs of tax cuts for the wealthy. Consider the lengths to which this would have preserved the safety and health of countless first responders who later sickened and have begun to die from the illnesses incurred on that heroic night and its aftermath. Instead, that president ended the day telling a reporter, bizarrely, that it had been “an interesting day.” Of course the day was done for him. The sun had set and there were no more photo ops to be had.

What a pathetic figure he cuts before the real heroes. And the EPA? They were worse than inadequate. First responders would have made better decisions if the EPA did not exist AT ALL. We watched a repeat of this sick phenomenon when hundreds and hundreds of boats and professionals were turned away from Louisiana by an agency that did NOTHING until they were embarrassed into doing SOMETHING. The survivors of Katrina would have been better off if the agency had never existed.

There was DISBELIEF among us. NO ONE IN THE PUBLIC SPHERE said anything even remotely critical of the president for this hideous lie by the EPA. It was carefully “cross-fired” into nothingness; not even charges of incompetence. So today we have 16 dead miners and we are not surprised. Apparently the rest of the nation is numb also. Incompetence is rewarded as if it held great worth, the dead worth less. But those deaths were immoderate, and so is this: Who the hell ordered the removal of mine safety regulations and why?

According to the FBI, the information gathered by the illegal NSA spying operation contained not one item that has been useful or relevant to national security (which does NOT mean it lacks uses elsewhere). In summary, they are demanding approval (YET AGAIN!) for a total failure. Why is the White House demanding permission for a failed, useless program? Why is Sen. Roberts approving the White House demand to conduct a failed, useless program that upends the Constitution? Why is this tradeoff acceptable, even THINKABLE?

These people, who have failed at absolutely everything in addition to national security, are now pushing us to toss the Constitution in its entirely rather than tossing them - a clear signal that tossing them is the ONLY choice for true Americans, including every soldier and every representative who takes the oath to honor and uphold same as if one’s life depends on it. Literally, this regime's control of government mechanisms - which enables them to manipulate the process of justice in countless ways - has rendered the indivisible divisible and raised the desperate specter that only military action will stop these criminals from perpetrating any more of their crimes.

DEMANDS OF SENATOR ROBERTS RE: HIS APPROVAL OF NSA SPYING ACCORDING TO WHITE HOUSE DEMANDS: OPEN-ENDED, UNACCOUNTABLE. NO WARRANTS. FOREVER.

An utterly unworthy debate for an American. Is the senator's consent informed? Has he considered the deficits of this tradeoff?
These are the implications of White House demands, made by terrorizing Americans into compliance:

(1) the compromising of political opponents, which destroys an opposition party and thus democracy by illegal one-sided access to information. It KILLS DEMOCRACY by THIS DOUBLE STANDARD AND THE END RESULT OF MANIPULATED, BOGUS ELECTIONS. Every indication is that this administration would be happy with that alongside the continued corruption of electronic voting. Indicators point to this as a strong possibility, and all indicators point to elections as already having been stolen by electronic voting and low-tech fraud. And the double standard? That is the first clue you are living in a dictatorship.

(2) the compromising of the Fourth estate and its oversight function. THIS KILLS DEMOCRACY BY KILLING INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALISM IN MATTERS CONCERNING GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS. Every indication is that this administration would be happy with this and is very unhappy without it.

(3) the compromising of proprietary business information and possibilities for “insider” exploitation. THIS KILLS DEMOCRACY BY KILLING FREE ENTERPRISE AND REPLACING IT WITH CRONYISM FOR A PRICE, THE ABUSE OF INSIDER INFORMATION FOR MANIPULATION, SHAKEDOWNS, AND PRIVATE PROFIT. (The “day trading” already said to be going on in GOP congressional offices today). Every indication is that this government would be very happy increasing its corrupt cronyism and control over industry and enterprise, enabling it to manipulate information to serve its own ends, to punish those who fail to ante up.

(4) the compromise of judicial offices and officers in matters and cases of interest to a totalitarian government. With enough lead time, the cases brought on Libby, Abramoff (to name just two) could be “preemptively” “handled” to never see the light of day. Today they must rely on stalling tactics and God knows what else, and God knows what else has yet to see the light of day because of the backdoor machinations of corrupt and increasingly absolute power.

(5) The use of surveillance of private citizens for purposes of bribery and/or pressure for desired behavior. Private information to be used against you, your family, and whatever other creative use the unscrupulous can come up with and have come up with when opportunities and access have presented themselves. The president seeks open-ended, infinite, and unaccountable access and opportunity.

They seek godlike powers over all, which will INFECT ALL. They will reap murderous anarchy and multiple generations of score settling. Expatriates will keep it all alive and America will revert to lawlessness.

A young woman, a senior high school student, called a radio talk host. The host asked her what she thought of all that was happening and what could be done. She was very articulate, but made it clear in a calm manner that she believed the only realistic solution we could look to reverse the course this government was taking us in was for someone else to COME IN to America from the outside and stop those in power from doing what they were doing.

The model she was describing was the role of the U.S. government in stopping the juggernaut of Hitler’s regime. A well-spoken, white, female, American adolescent.

THE DESPICABLE PERFORMANCE OF THIS WHITE HOUSE IN THE INVESTIGATION OF THE ANTHRAX KILLER.

31 FBI agents are now down to 21 working on the investigation. Bush seems to have abandoned this search along with bin Laden. Best guess: An FBI forensic linguistics expert believes the attacks were done by a senior scientist inside the U.S. biological-defense community, and that the killer seems to have tried to implicate 2 former USAMRIID scientists who left the lab in unhappy circumstances. Only someone in contact with a senior insider at USAMRIID would have known how those scientists left the lab and would be likely targets for FBI investigation.

The current White House knows how this can strike terror in anyone’s heart, if only on a primal and not an operating level; they are capable of understanding its chilling effect. What is unconscionable is their willingness to exploit this, to use it as a bludgeon to force people to obey them unconditionally and on faith in addition to threatening them to support us or else, vote for us or else: you can be a traitor, a terrorist, or dead. Pick one. This is the immaturity of megalomania and tyranny. Hell is more populated with these types than anything else.

They are godless creatures and despicable human beings. They seem unconcerned that they themselves might be future targets in ways not currently protected by the institutional controls put in place after the anthrax attacks. WHY? When they lost interest in the investigation we asked the logical question: Where is the concern for your OWN personal safety? Why do YOU seem immune from primal concerns? Twice now this has occurred.

After 9/11, the White House insisted on the 12th that it knew how to protect Americans in a way it did not know or do on the 11th. So when they tried to strong-arm Congress into the unthinkable for a democracy, NOT investigating the attacks, we all asked: How do they know they can prevent another attack if they refuse to nail down how THIS one happened in the first place? No good answer was forthcoming. We are left not ruling out and not ruling in, but only a consciousness of guilt or something else.

Why are they so confident in their current stewardship after such spectacular failure? After we discovered their negligence, it was clear they all should have been gone the next day. Conspiracy suggests ITSELF. But I am also suggesting stupidity, arrogance and its uber-versions in the presence of megalomania and vicarious killing. Men who have replaced God with themselves eventually come to think of themselves as immortal.

There is a simple answer that preserves a presumptive innocence: They might assume that the FBI profile is the correct one: that this is probably a person who thinks like them politically and who, like themselves, is willing to kill a few people (many in their case) in a process to achieve an end, and thus would only target democrats. So for the 3 democratic senators nearly murdered and the rest of America? Let em stew in their fears, as he's our kind of terrorist. Far be it for them to identify themselves with this situation and seek to correct it by formulating a We Are All in This Together alliance.

WE ARE NOT ALL IN THIS TOGETHER. They are the annointed party, the democrats their inferiors. It is more thrilling for them to enjoy their sense of immunity from attack than to make the threat to democrats and thus democracy their common cause.

These monsters are protecting all Americans? They can't even find the would-be killer of their fellow senators!

What utter cowards are adults retaining infantile emotions. What shame they bring to this country (pick any profile), and no wonder the world hates us with a passion because of them.

So there you have it. An inkling into why suicide attackers will blow themselves up for the honor of taking out one of THEIR proxies.

We have heard not ONE WORD about the anthrax terrorist out of the mouth of this president. The rhetoric is insistent and repetitive: We NEED these tools to identify terrorists! To protect all of you! Yet with all that infinite, warrantless surveillance, torture and law breaking, they can’t even crack the case of a domestic insider among a cohort of, what?, 10 people? What total losers these people are. And STILL they come to us and demand more! LAUGHTER AND RIDICULE ALONE SHOULD BE DRIVING THEM FROM OFFICE!! No organization can afford to keep around people this corrupt and this incompetent.

But the anthrax kills dovetailed so nicely into their plans of world domination. Sell it as stuff Hussein could give to retail terrorists. Except NO weapons of mass destruction were found anywhere.

(We are learning it is not so easy to create planted evidence with the right footprints, that will not come home to the fort in Maryland to bite them in the ass).

The FBI profile continues to sound uncannily like the occupants of the White House: Someone who wanted to demonstrate that the US was badly prepared for an act of biological terrorism. Today millions of government dollars fund such research, and anthrax antibiotics are now available. It is said that even one of the lawyers of one the scientist-suspects recognizes this rationale as real among these scientists. And they STILL don’t know that this sick viewpoint, this pathological way of thinking, is utterly and thoroughly morally bankrupt. But of course not, as the killer lives free among us. There is no accountability to an outraged public who would demand their punishment to inform them of their insanely antisocial rationalizations. That’s how elites get away with thinking they can get away with murder. That is the GANG mentality in operation where individuals would never go. Cowards once again. How do we produce such creatures?

Do you think our anthrax terrorist laments the waste of the expiration dates on the packages of Cipro that will go unused? Maybe they can figure out a way to build it into tanks and aerosolize it into the atmosphere of hot spots to compete with the 5000-year half-life of the uranium we have poisoned the air and DNA in Afghanistan and Iraq with, and the little frankeninfants it midwifes. Can we expect our anthrax killer to make a reappearance, perhaps in the form of avian flu with the support of Reward-the-Failure of a General Myers at NORAD? The members of the GANG never suffer the nightmares of the free individual with a single undivided conscience. It is always someone else who bears responsibility if things go wrong. They have shamed an entire nation.

So in 2005/2006 we learn that the White House maybe identifies with the anthrax killer a little and we can’t prosecute a thought crime, after all. But what about their refusal to provide handwriting samples, which FBI experts very much want to examine in detail? We will just add that to the list of criminal White House obstructionism: COMPROMISING NATIONAL SECURITY BY REFUSING TO MEANINGFULLY COOPERATE WITH THE ANTHRAX INVESTIGATION.

As usual, the mentality of the chicken hawk is that they crave the experience and bragging rights of the combatant’s baptism by fire, but despise them for having it when they don’t. In this case, they dishonor the entire body of legislators because they cannot even use their imagination enough to honor the experience of what has happened in someone else’s inbox down the hall or a few blocks away. They are oblivious because there is little political yield. They will exploit the 9/11 deaths because they are so easily spun. This other matter is best exploited by doing and saying nothing - by letting everyone but us stew in their fears -- no matter that their adult responsibility requires something else entirely. Their shame will cross generations.

We are left with the pathetic image of the befuddled senator from Connecticut and the befuddled senator from Pennsylvania scratching their heads and professing to be perplexed by the failure of the White House to cooperate.

It is obvious to the rest of us what these good senators are missing about these people: that they are not leaders of their nation and thus ACT as leaders should in such service. Quite the opposite: They are parasites sucking the life blood out of it.

HOW DO WE PRODUCE SUCH PEOPLE AS THIS IN THIS COUNTRY?
