!!KERRY IN INTERVIEW --YOU'VE GOT TO WATCH THIS!!!
(11/16/04 9:13 p.m.)
Two weeks ago, Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry conceded defeat in the
presidential race against George W. Bush. On Tuesday, Kerry talked
about his campaign with NECN political reporter Alison King -- and his
future in Washington, D.C.
Kerry mentions losing by only 50,000 votes twice, and he states that they are still counting so he won't talk about a 2008 bid.

I think he moved his first pawn when he conceded.
He moved his second one by letting Cam Kerry
speak recently, this is his third pawn move, or
maybe he just moved a pawn two spaces.
I hope he is still in there.
I think he mock conceded.

I said that before...Kerry conceded to protect his image among people who need to be convinced fraud occurred. They would have reacted angrily if he pressed for a recount and would have been called divisive. His evidence would have been overshadowed by the negative reaction. Now, he can plausibly come out and say, "i'm unconceding because evidence has turned up", and no one blames him for "dividing" the nation with a long, drawn out, fraud charges and recount.
INGENIOUS!

I hope you're right and in retrospect it would have been the proper way to handle this. Had he refused to concede, public support would have turned on him. The repugs would have engineered another smear campaign making him look bad. This way no one loses as the count goes on and the concession is not legally binding. Still, I'm apprehensive.
