Stop Alito: Impeachment in the House Before Thanksgiving.
Democrats!! Stop ignoring the facts!!!
Impeachment! Before Thanksgiving!
You also want to stop Alito? Impeachment! Now!
Start the demand for impeachment in the House before Thanksgiving --Now!
Invite the media, and do sit-in on your Representative or Senator's office now --to get it!
Demand it!
The simple fact is that Bush and his entire Administration could now be impeached before Thanksgiving, if the resolution for it in the House just included a simple clause declaring "that any Democrat now in this House not voting for it --now just gets added to it."
And I guarantee you, along with every single Democrat you'll get all kinds of Republicans in the House, as well, voting for it.
It moreover, can also be used to stop Alito. And we ought to be sick, all of us, that we aren't just getting it therefore, tomorrow.
AfterDowningStreet.org's poll shows that at least 51% of ALL Americans want impeachment now.
Get it?
Now.
And even overwhelmingly greater numbers of Democrats than this support impeachment. That same poll also shows that only about 30%, and almost entirely of the far-far right oppose it.
So just quit stalling!
The Bush Administration IS impeachable!
And with Republican help. Now!
And, also, get this --waiting anymore until after '06 elections is just wrong! Both morally and politically. You want to split the party in '06?
That's right then, go ahead delaying impeachment until past next Spring's primaries: and ending the war within a year, too Genuis!
To stop Alito? Well how about a filibuster in the Senate also: supporting this House impeachment; and against all new Supreme Court nominees until the Spring. Until after this impeachment could then be decided there. You think this is too "out there"? Well maybe it's because you really don't want to THINK now --or maybe it's just you simply haven't any courage.
Democratic Senators in the Congress not supporting such a filibuster as this, blocking any Supreme Court nominees, and backing this impeachment call in the House before Thanksgiving, could also, too, simply be "outed" --just by also adding their names to that resolution for impeachment --or at least for some censure of them.
Given the enormity of this Administration's war crimes, environmental destruction, incompetence, destruction of global human rights, flat-out lying, ripping up of the Constitution, ripping up of the Bill of Rights --and their treaty breaking stupidity --you're going to tell me that THIS is too much?
Nine out of ten Americans say that the Bush Administration is without ethics.
And moreover, by comparison, the Civil Rights Act was filibustered in 1964 for almost two months by Southern racists: To do nothing but support their pathetic, disgusting, hatred.
Get a spine.
I think it is long past time that Democrats in the Congress needed to show what it takes to stand up for the American people and justice.
And impeachment has just never been more possible.
It will now take less than 10% of all the Republicans in the House joining with all the Democrats there, and the Bush Administration would be "impeached." Tomorrow. Republicans are already deserting Bush openly, like rats. Sixteen or Seventeen Republicans out of more than 230; the problem isn't finding those 17 Republicans to join with over 202 Democrats for the 51% needed in the House to do an impeachment. It's now getting G-d damned Democrats in the House to demonstrate their "so-called" convictions for G-d damned once.
So I think the above clauses should be sufficient to finally "out" all disgusting, limping every single one of them --now. We should be calling for such "outing" clauses today.
I will never vote for ANYONE of my own Party not ready to impeach the Bush Administration tomorrow --Bush and Cheney.
They, any Democrat not supporting impeachment calls today in the House now, are simply traitors.
As much as Bush, or Cheney.
And these backless Democrats now disgust me. They make me physically sick.
They are now the ruin of this country and our Party.
As for the rest: Chertoff, Rice, Rumsfeld, Gonzalez --indictments for their criminality and lying. Get a Special Prosecutor before Thanksgiving and draw up the charges over the holiday recess.
And as for the Senate, which is more likely if you want to stall it:
Democrats winning 23 new seats in '06?
Or it --as currently constituted --passing the Bush Administration's impeachment?
Get real.
Postponing impeachment until after the Spring is just DLC excrement --a ploy to keep washed out sellouts in our Party from having to stand for something for once in their stinking lives --for this primary season now gearing up. And if you don't have a clue to what the DLC is up to here --google it. Postponing any strong united call in the House of Congress any longer for the Bush Administration's impeachment is just more suicide for this Party.
It takes 67 of the one hundred Senators in the Senate to confirm an impeachment. And in the Senate today, that means at least 23 of them will have to be Republicans.
Martin Luther King, too, also once faced a Congress as hostile to the 1964 Voting Rights Act, as the 55 Republicans in the Senate today are to impeachment. And just as many spineless, gutless, spittling, dipwad Democrats indifferent to it --as there are in the Congress today on impeachment.
And ending the war, now, too.
King, however, GOT civil rights.
The movement needed to get this impeachment from these twenty-three Republicans in the Senate will just require, beyond Democratic unity and backbone for a change, something like Seattle in '99 --only with a little more leadership for non-violence, and in about 10 cities at once. Over the course of some months. In the Spring.
It is a generational opening for justice.
King knew these sorts of facts too, in his struggle. And King knew too, that this was the kind of thinking that would actually move the "politics."
And he too, had just as many nutwads standing around, doing nothing, really, and saying "wait" "wait," and "you'll
never get it"; and "Oh! that's just impossible!"
It's a generational opportunity, not an obstacle --we Democrats are now staring in the face --if we stop listening to the spittle spouters of this Party who keep ranting only about "elections first."
It's their policy for keeping us all in this country a bunch of losers.
Get with the movement first --not the "politics!"
And I don't think it'll even come to impeachment in the Senate. I think Republican moderates, who outnumber the
right wing by 2 to 1 in their own party, can clearly prevail this Spring with what will be their demands for resignations; if we had such a mobilization pushing them for it.
I mean, come on, Republicans really don't want martial law either: the military getting into it, and grabbing any of what they, the Republican moderates, see as "theirs" on the political side, do they? Really?
Get a coffee, and wake up to the politics, you noodling, thoughtless, nodder! Besides, the next model after King is Venezuela: and mobilizations have succeed there, too. In even more recent history; in elections, against a recall, and even a straight-out military coup.
Would to be we Democrats had gotten such a record by now!
But if, however, such a powerful mobilization for non-violence in the Spring did NOT succeed, we Democrats certainly won't need a smaller one from here on out. To win anything. And even a caretaker President Hassert and Republican Party would be on the run from there on out.
But hey, delay it: and see how many independent and third party candidates spring up next year, splitting Democrats
--the way Perot once split Republicans --and demanding impeachment now, and an end to the war, now.
Wake Up!!!!
King, clearly got civil rights with a strategy that put the movement for it before the politics. And he didn't get it by delaying non-violent civil rights mobilizations and marches --despite the fact that even Kennedy begged him for delays.
And King also didn't get it by campaigning for Democrats who were mushmouths on civil rights.
Kennedy begged for delays on civil rights through his brother Robert.
King, however, GOT Civil Rights.
Furthermore, such a mobilization starting now, would clean out all this party of it's corrupt DLC droolers and dead weight in the upcoming primaries; and mobilize it for a stronger, clearer battle for the independent voters --whom all strategists say are going to be the real "soccer moms" of '06: and who are already with us in the majority; but according to polls are looking, overwhelmingly, for backbone.
For courageous leadership.
Absent a showing of that, We Democrats simply will NOT gain significant new numbers in '06.
If any.
Or impeachment of the Bush Administration --if ever.
Get it?
The question is not whether or not the Bush Administration is unimpeachable or impeachable.
It is.
And I believe we urgently, today need to make our demand for it clear to every single Democratic "leader" we have. Now.
And every single day from here on out --with a massive new united rising up of all of us in the next two weeks with phone calls, emails, and even sit-ins in Congressional offices.
To get it.
Impeachment --and and end to the war --Now!
Starting today. Demand it! NOW!!
The question, simply, is:
What would King do?

Alito bandito & the Biden-Fiengold inside job.
I can't believe Biden. He says Alito will have an up or down vote. And several people are saying this vote is about ideology and choice. I disagree. This is about integrity and ethics.
It is reported that Alito did not recuse himself when judging a case, while he was a shareholder of the company being sued. Yes, he presided over a case while having a financial interest. This is UNACCEPTABLE. He lacks INTEGRITY and DUTY to law. HE knew that he should not be involved in the case. Yet, he took the case. Everybody knows this judicial conduct is unacceptable and unethical.
Sorry, he can't be a Justice. He showed he's DISHONEST. NO WAY can he be promoted to the Supreme Court. He broke a fundamental rule of judges. This proves he is not up to the standards needed for the Supreme Court.
I want LEADERS to pound this major lack of integrity and untrustworthy case in the media. No fair minded person would allow a nomination to the Supreme Court with this major dishonest incident on the record. And it is public knowledge. I heard about it on day one in the major media. NOW we need leadership to stop this unethical judge from reaching the Supreme Court.
And since BIDEN is showing no concerns, he's uninformed, or not a leader. If Biden keeps this position, he will NEVER have progressive support for higher office. As it stands, he lack a backbone.
Let us ALWAYS remember, Fiengold turned on the Dems to support Roberts. It seems he did this so he can be seen as a "moderate." However, I think many Democrats will see this "moderate" as a turn coat, sell out, and unworthy of leadership. I can't believe he would support the most partisan LAWYER in the last 20 years. Roberts owes everything to Repub Administrations. He was involved in the 2000 FL theft. And to top it off, he didn't hand over papers that the Senate wanted. The later was reason enough to oppose the nomination. Bush wanted a hearing with dignity. Well don't hide the facts, Pres Bush, and a dignified process is possible. Yet, Fiengold had no problem with the known, and unknown, history.
It's seems these "leaders" considering a run in '08 are more concerned about being seen as a moderate, rather than standing for truth, loyalty, principle, duty to Americans, and abilty to promote progressive values. They really disappoint me. One thing for sure, I've crossed Biden and Fiengold off my '08 list. Too bad they aren't up to the challenge, they often support LIBERTY and justice. I suppose they forget, it's the real yellow dogs that vote in the primary, not the "moderates." It seems those DE and WI dogs don't hunt.
I don't understand why they don't realize that they would gain more respect (and overall points) by standing up to the far right, and pointing our that Alito is DISHONEST and UNETHICAL. If they can't make this easy, straight forward case, they are UNWORTHY of future consideration for the Presidency.
Maybe not, let's wait and see if Biden is as weak as Fiengold.
