1. Who has said this (or words like it) at least three times in public: "If this were a dictatorship, it would be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator"...?
A: George W. Bush
2. What was MK-ULTRA?
A: Exposed by Senate investigators in the mid '70's, MK-ULTRA was the CIA mind control program that included illegal, extensive research of the effects of LSD on unwitting US citizens. For example, CIA operatives would set up CIA "safe houses" as brothels, where prostitutes would slip LSD into the drinks of their johns. The CIA agents would observe and film the effects behind one-way mirrors.
3. Which world-famous cult leader owns the Washington Times, the UPI, has paid Bush's parents up to $10 million in speaking fees, and is one of the most powerful men in our country?
A: The Rev. Sun Myung Moon, head of the Unification Church, otherwise known as the "Moonie" Cult.
4. John Hinckley shot Ronald Reagan in 1981. What was the "bizarre coincidence" concerning this event?
A: Hinckley's brother, Scott, was a friend of Neil Bush, son of Vice President George H.W. Bush and brother of George W. Bush. The night after the shooting, Scott Hinckley was planning to have dinner with Neil. This was reported at the time by the Houston Post and the AP. Also, John Hinckley's father was a major contributor to George H.W. Bush's 1980 presidential campaign.
5. What is the name of the billionaire who financed the Arkansas Project and much of the "vast rightwing conspiracy" to destroy Bill Clinton's presidency?
A: Richard Mellon Scaife
6. Saudi Princess Al-Haifa had bank accounts with Riggs Bank. Funds from those accounts appear to have gone to two of the 9/11 hijackers. Which Bush family member is a top executive with Riggs Bank (since renamed under a merger) -- who personally handled the accounts of "high net-worth individuals"? (Still unknown -- was the princess one of his personal clients?)
A: W's Uncle Jonathan Bush, brother of George H. W. While the 9/11 Commission report concluded that no funds flowed from the Princess' accounts to the hijackers, critics charge that this is just another of the Commission's whitewashed findings.
In the meantime, Riggs Bank was fined $25 million for laundering funds for terrorists and dictators such as Chile's
Pinochet and Equatorial Guinea's Nguema.
7. What is the name of the FBI software program that can record keystrokes on your computer?
A: Magic Lantern
8. (W.'s grandpa) Prescott Bush was the director of Union Banking, which had its assets seized in 1942. Why did this happen?
A: Union Banking and its subsidiaries were financing Nazi corporations, since Union Banking was essentially a front for the German Thyssen family. The assets were seized under the Trading with the Enemy Act. It has been charged that Prescott Bush profited from Auschwitz concentration camp slave labor.
9. What was "Operation Northwoods"?
A: Operation Northwoods was the covert plan by the Joint Chiefs of Staff to stage terror attacks on the US, and blame them on Cuba, to whip up public support for US military action against Cuba. As soon as it was submitted to him, JFK's Defense Secretary Robert McNamara rejected the plan.
10. What did Richard Nixon do behind the scenes of the Paris Peace Talks to improve his chances of winning the '68 election? Who was his agent in this plot?
A: Presidential candidate Nixon sent an intermediary to tell the South Vietnamese President to stay away from the Paris Peace Talks, claiming that South Vietnam would get a better deal if he became President. He did this for the sake of stealing from Lyndon Johnson, and especially his opponent Hubert Humphrey, a major pre-election public relations victory -- to say the least. As a private citizen meddling in affairs of the State, especially peace talks to end a war, this could be considered treason. Nixon's actions may have extended our involvement in the Vietnam War for over 6 years, thus costing the lives of tens of thousands of US soldiers. His agent (or intermediary) was Anna Chennault, widow of Claire Chennault of the WWII Flying Tigers.
11. Reagan and Bush Sr. arranged for the sale of WMDs to this country. Bush Sr. also issued a billion dollar loan guarantee to this country in 1989. Which country is it?
A: Iraq under Saddam Hussein -- this is known as the Iraqgate scandal. In 1983, Reagan's special envoy, Donald Rumsfeld initiated the Iraqgate deals.
12. Donald Rumsfeld sat on the board of ABB, which sold nuclear reactor equipment to this country. The name of the country is...?
A: North Korea
13. What was "The October Surprise"?
A: The October Surprise was the plot by the Reagan-Bush Sr. team that prevented the release of the US hostages held by Iran until after the 1980 election. Members of the Reagan-Bush team, such as campaign manager William Casey -- and even (Reagan's running mate and former CIA Director) George H.W. Bush -- cut a deal with the Iranians to delay the release of the hostages. The motive is the same as that behind Nixon's plot to undermine the Paris Peace Talks -- to improve in this case Reagan and Bush Sr's chances of winning the '80 election, by denying Jimmy Carter a huge pre-election PR victory. The hostages were released just minutes after Reagan and Bush Sr's inauguration. Casey was a veteran spook who would go on to be Reagan's CIA Director.
14. What is the name of the CIA program (exposed by Senate investigators in the '70's) that put as many as 400 media personnel on the CIA payroll?
A: "Operation Mockingbird" -- though not the official name, is what it is commonly called. Top CIA official Frank Wisner also called it "The Mighty Wurlitzer."
15. George W. Bush appointed Iran-contra criminal John Poindexter to head a Pentagon program to collect ALL information on everyone in a giant database. What is the name of this program? Does it still exist?
A: Total Information Awareness -- later called the Information Awareness Office. Although Congress cut off funding for TIA, there have been reports that programs similar to TIA may have been farmed out to private contractors, as a Pentagon "black bag" operation.
Meanwhile, Bush signed a law requiring all Americans to carry National ID cards (aka "Real ID") within the next few years. National ID is disturbing enough in-and-of itself, but it will likely be tied to TIA, or a program like it. 1984 finally arrived...20 years later...

Nice quiz! Can I add a question to your quiz? . . .
Why do Republicans oppose gun control?
Answer...Maybe???
Republican Presidents get shot at a lot more than Democratic ones. Presidents Garfield, Lincoln, McKinley all assasinated were Republican Presidents. Then there was the attempt to kill Ford and Reagan. It sure seems like Republicans piss a lot of people off! Yes, Kennedy was a Democrat but I believe Bush Sr had his hands in the assasination of JFK - just look at his CIA ties to overthrow Cuba's government.
Wow, just typing this out has made me realize that restrictions on guns are not necessarly a bad thing. Maybe everyone should have a gun and maybe we can finally cut the Republican numbers down - JUST KIDDING.
"They want the federal government controlling Social Security
like it's some kind of federal program."
- George W. Bush in a debate in St. Charles, Mo., Nov. 2, 2000
