The main 'threat' was the Aug
The main 'threat' was the Aug 6 - PDB - (pres daily briefing) --the one that counted - the one that was scribbled on and left in a trash can.
If the 'imminent threat' coming from the Bush regime -- are any indication (i.e./weapons of mass destruction) -- it's crap.
This administration went 'overbaord' with the 'fear-mongering'..and the crap that existed after 9-11. -- Someone in the White House knows very well 'why' 9-11 happened....and they just need to run a series of 'episodes' to continue the cover-up.
Al-Qaeda -- will probably desintegrate in the next 1-2 years -- too many cells that aren't consistent with 'terror mentality'...they will tire and feel defeated eventually. -- We've known all along that 'terorists' can only go so long - w/o real resources and support from others -- this has been another 'version of politics' at it's best.
Let's just say -- all threats from now on are 'real'---with the dysfunctional CIA/FBI - how do we really know 'what's real' or 'not real'...from day-one -- the National Security Advisor should have slapped Bush and brought him to reality -- this has been the most 'dysfuntional administration' ever.
Let's just pray - they are right -- 'cuz they have been wrong' many times.
BTW: for all the 'red states' -- that voted for fear-terror ...may they experience what it's like to live a 'real terror attack'...the poeple in the east coast have more of a chance -- than the 'christian fanatic'..in the midwest. - What a joke.
