It's another smoke screen

I would really really like to believe that there are going to be indictments coming from the Plame investigation but the more I watch and listen the more I think the are blowing smoke up our ass.

I think this is all a big smoke screen. Another drama for our entertainment which will amount to a pile of dog shit.

It's a big show folks. I hope I am wrong but I do not think so. I think nothing is going to come about from this. Everyone is just foaming at the mouth thinking that the BA is about to fall and all these indictments are coming about. How I wish. But there is a little something nagging deep inside me saying it is not for real.

This is what I predict. Nothing comes about all of this and everyone part of the BA says "See", there was this huge investigation for over 2 years and they could not find a thing on us. We are innocent; we don't do anything wrong; you see; it's been proven. We are just wrongly accused victims.

I strongly hope that I am wrong but I think its all a big smoke screen. Again sucking in the American people to drink the kool aid.

You have a point...

Notwithstanding all the good press Fitzgerald receives... he is a Republican appointee... and yesterday the news said that any indictments would be announced in Washington.... not Chicago where the grand jury is convened.... so DC is taking control....

I think it less likely that Karl Rove is ducking the media because of the attention for his role in the crime than he is back at the theater preparing his puppets for the machinations....

Yup, I believe it's all a

Yup, I believe it's all a circus and will be old news in a few months

'taking bets'...?

'no one knows'; although the 'media hype, speculation, nail-biting, and wishful thinking are all embedded in this 'high-profile' investigation....

I thought Fitzgerald would have wrapped this up @ July 2005 --[although Judith Miller [whore tramp reporter] --decided to keep her mouth shut...and rather go to jail --
[a martyr or just plain stupid];

evidently this woman must [at some point] thought she was serving her sentence -- of "lies" ---[and lived by an Eygptian River]..."da Nile"...

and on the record as a 'journalist' of journalists...[nothing but lies]...

saying this; most Federal cases [even small ones] sometimes take 1 to 2 years under investigation ; [depending the ramifications] --[22 mos] on this one.

If no 'indictments' are handed on the CIA Leak --a 'formal report'; will follow --which may dispell the 'culprits' of a 'possible wrong-doing' and the stage may be just set; for the Bush - White House 'Shake-Down'---by God; isn't it about time this corrupt village of idiots be 'shaken-down'?!

And, if the 'Grand Jury' finds 'probable cause' and does hand-down indictments; --we're looking at a long-winded 'trial'...; unless Fitzgerald can 'crack-wide open' the bigger 'piece of the puzzle' ; regarding the 'true motivation' of 'WMD's, War in Iraq, Downing St Memo, PDB's, and much more;

--we're looking thru a peep hole...and I don't believe Fitzgerald just wants to mailout formal letters of a fact finding mission; this investigation has huge implications --and if this can be brought into the core; then it would serve the purpose of all it's worth.

I hope you are right....

I just don't buy this hype that Rove is running scared... It is just not his m.o.

Did you see that comment letter in the Libby letter to Miller about certain trees turning together because they are connected by their roots...?

Thing about roots is you can't see all of them so you never know who may be connected... and who is lending support for all the trees to stay in lockstep...

I believe Rove is running

I believe Rove is running scared. Now they have announced terror threats to tunnels around Maryland - just ANOTHER coincidence, I suppose. The current administration always dusts off the terror threats when their feet are to the fire.

Let's not be so down! Nixon didn't have to resign because of the Watergate Hotel break-in but because of the coverup of its ties to the White House. Its the same thing all over again. I hope Fitzgerald is able to slap someone with a conspiracy charge. Since Republicans are always blaming Democrats for being conspiracy theorists, it would be sweet justice to hang the conspiracy label on them.

"They want the federal government controlling Social Security

like it's some kind of federal program."

- George W. Bush in a debate in St. Charles, Mo., Nov. 2, 2000
