Multiple notices
I just received 8, not 7 not 9, but 8 notices that a thread to which I have subscribed has been updated. When I went to the thread there was ONE update. Why am I receiving 8 emails to tell me one person answered my post??? Looks to me like Bush's accountants are involved in our site.

Yeah, that makes sense. Every time someone hits 'post comment' it would send another message. I can live with that.

I do a lot of editing. I go back to check spelling/grammar and sometimes an 'Oh yeah!' occurs to me and I add stuff.

Necco my dear friend, I was being a bit silly there. I too tend to use the edit button on my posts. Especially with those 'Oh yeah's'.

Maybe it is some force that is causing this to happen,
for example what is sometimes called the
Retroactive Editor Programmable Unified Broadcast
Legal Intentional Corrupt Analog Node, or REPUBLICAN
for short.
This is what is known as the computer Axis of Evil,
that often tries to Edit posts, without the original
poster even knowing what has happened, when confronted
the computer worm tries to cover up, and puts the blame
on other viruses, thinking it will never be caught,
exposed, and deleted.
