What does everybody think that Kerry should do about Bush's failure to keep homeland security operating at its full potential? What is Kerry's plan I do not understand what he says about it.

lol Kerrys plan for homeland security. what should he do since Bush failed to keep it up? well if bush put more money into homeland security the Clinton did. and Kerry wants to cut more then Bush put in where do you think he stands on homeland security?
I think kerrys plan for homeland security is simply this. its bad enough how it is today lets make it worse so we could have more attacks on America.
lol... great plan there great ol guy Kerry...
A vote for Bush was the best thing Americans could do. A vote for Kerry is the same as a vote for Attacks on America... Good job america for doing the right thing.
And if you ban me for voicing my opinion on here you are no better then Kerry trying to sue the people for telling people how he was to the troops who surved under him in the war.
America gives us the right to freedom of speach. so show exactly how much you guys relly do support America and how much you guys really support the troops. I served in both in Iraq and afgan. I will still be serving when i get shipped back over there.

Actually, Clinton asked for millions to increase homeland security. The republican Congress turned him down. But hey, let's let those morons off the hook, and not look at reality. Keeps life simple, and then we don't have to think. Yeah, that works.

This is exactly what I am talking about, your arrogance is what is the most irritating. It is what will get you no respect, when I see someone in the service that is arrogant like you I give them no respect because they don't deserve, you can act you age, and you deserve respect, but arrogance makes me mad from troops, you are not better than us. Oh and Kerry had a plan, which was better than King Georges Kerry actually had a plan.

lol how am i being arrogent? by saying the he was willing to lower the funding on Homeland Security? i in no way said or refered to me or any troops being better then you. but know what i think that me and all the other troops in this country deserve more respect from a leader then John Kerry would have ever given.
you say kerry had a plan what is it? in his debates he stated this. he will not pull troops out of iraq. but yet he plans on lowering the amount of money to keep the troops and the U.S. safe. yea i guess this is a great plan.
if you got that i am better then you or that the troops are better then you by my post then you are the arrogant one.l I love all americans and that is why i am willing to fight for us. I support our goverment and thats why i am willing to die for it. and if you look at the past how Democrats voted for things it is to lower homeland security and lower the funding to the military. what are the two things you need to keep the U.S. safe? think about it...
and for calling me a republican i am actualy insulted lol i am far from a republican. but do think that GWB is the best man for the job out of the two of them. I stronly disagree with many of his aspects but i disagree with Kerry as president a hell of a lot more

Actually if you want to know Kerry's plan you can go to www.johnkerry.com and ready the parts of his book that talk about his plan. You are being arrogant because you laugh at everything we say, you can't take anyting at face value. Cheney has some bad voted in 1985.

did you not listen to his debates on national T.V. he stated that he would lower homeland security there. and how can you belive anything you read of his since he changes his mind so much? lol and about me laughing at everything you say. that is actualy 100% false i only laugh at the stupid things like John Kerry being for the Troops and John Kerry having a good homeland security plan.
And yes Cheney does have some bad votes. But he did it for how he belived not because polls show something. that is my biggest problem with Kerry. is he changed his minds because of polls not because thats how he believed things should go

Clarification, please. Kerry did nothing but bash Bush, for leaving the infrastructure of this country, vulnerable. He clearly stated the security of this country would be a priority with him. He clearly stated that ports/borders were not secure. He's right, they aren't. Neither are airlines or nuclear and chemical plants. I can't imagine what you're talking about.
As for "plans" for the troops, Kerry recognized we can't just walk away. But, he also recognized that forming alliances (again) could help take the pressure off of our troops, and downsizing them would be a realistic goal. Bush alienated them, and we're paying for that. Actually, the troops are.

I am a little more concerned than protesting King George's innaguration, and working together to stand up to these repubs, than arguing with people. Passing ideas, and supporting each other is what I thought we were here to do. We have a long tiring job ahead of us.

lol you say that bush is evil and Democrats are for good?
how many democrats in the Senated voted for us to go to war?
How many democrats voted for Bush to go into office?
How many Democrats support bush in the war?
How many Democrats work in a Job that the bush administration has opened up for them?
How many Democrats are rich that gladly accepted Bushes tax cuts for them?
and their are so many other things that i could name.
so i guess all these Democrats are evil to.
lol i love all you left sided people. who have a one track mind who is against bush. You guys dont care what kind of person you put in office as long as it was not Bush.

Actually, most Americans, of which half voted Democratic, supported Bush in his 'war.' After some 'truths' started coming out, many naturally took a closer look. You find that 'odd' do you? Did you think Americans are supposed to blindly follow politicians?
I'll be honest here, though i'm sure you won't believe it. I was and am, more than willing to take a tax increase (which Kerry would have given my income bracket), in exchange for a President who didn't usurp the Constituion. We all need priorities, and mine isn't my pocket book, when the alternative is the erosion of Constitutional principles.
