DEAN/OBAMA 2008
Its time to start planning for 2008. We democrats need to regain control of our party and country. The slave-holding south (red-states) and midwest have got to be overtaken with our message of truh and justice. The days of the evil facist homophobic stupid George Bush need to end ASAP. We need to impeach Bush/cheney and the rest of the know-nothing GOP.
First we impeach Bush and then get ready for 2008. I'd say we start getting ready for 2008 by uniting behind DEAN. He will restore order to our party and America. Dean's logical and rational policies will be a huge relief to the irrational and racist policies of George "evil" Bush. Dean could be the best president since FDR. I know it to be true. Kerry-Gore-Lieberman-Edwards are all losers, they could not even beat the radical and insane George Bush. Once Americans hear our message of logic they will vote democrat. Dean will deliever us from evil. And if we cannot win in 2008, the only solution will be to leave the union and form our own perfect peaceful nation. Who is with me?

I believe that Obama, while certainly charismatic, is too green around the gills (no pun intended). He needs some seasoning in the Congress before he will be ready for a run at the top job.
Good point
I like Oboma, he is charismatic and of the people. I can see him as a President later as well. I like Dean as well, while so many people talk of Hillary running, she is not fit for President. ALthough popular, she cannot run for prez with the credentials of being an ex-president's wife. I like Dean/Oboma, id vote for them.
good point
I don't agree about Obama he hasn't been in the senate for long enough, and I don't agree the Kerry and Edwards are loosers but I think you have a good plan.
I am Jewish, so I think I can criticize Lieberman with out being called an anti semite, I would actually like to see another Democrat unseat him in the senate, he has no business being president either, he is almost a republican, he acts like one and barely disagrees with them. I am just so furious with him.
Anyway back to what is important, Dean/Kerry ticket would also be powerful, I think Kerry needs to be a leader, he is a stong and well spoken person. We must take back the congress in 2006 and we must win in 2008, if this country is still here, we never know what Bush is going to do next, the blue states may be gone too.
"The only thing necessary for the perpetuation of evil is for good people to do nothing." ~Jane Elliott
Lieberman is republican
I agree Lieberman is a republican too. we need to move back to the left of our party and rid ourselves of those wo agree with the fascist evil liar Bush and his Cabinet of war lovers. George Bush and all of those who support him will destroy America piece by piece and day by day until there is nothing left but brainwashed average americans and radical christians and stupid people who do not realize they are wrong.

I can't believe more dems are not for DEAN for president in 2008. DEAN is our ticket to salvation.
Um, how?
In order to be able to impeach the illegal resident, first, the House needs to vote articles of impeachment, for which a simple majority is enough.
Presently, we do not have such a majority.
Assuming for a moment that the Articles do leave the House, the Senate would need to vote with a two-thirds majority to convict. This would require 45 Democrats being joined by 22 Repugs. I honestly do not see this happening, even if he were to sodomize puppies on the South Lawn.
Barring a colossal meltdown by the repugs, I am not sure this will happen before 2007, when the next Congress is seated.
Yes, the thought of impeaching Bush is beautiful, not to mention historically and legally justified, but given the deluded state of our enemies - "What torture scandal? What lies?" - I think the body politic is too ridden with corruption and disease to successfully rid itself, for the moment, of the Bush plague.
Sorry, we're just going to have to work with good old-fashioned resistance for the moment. Regrettable, but hey. 2006 isn't that far away.
