London Bombed Again.

Are we next? Thanks to Bush's policies, the world is a more dangerous place than ever.

Blasts Hit 3 London Subway Stations, Bus

By ROBERT BARR, Associated Press Writer 23 minutes ago

LONDON - Explosions struck the London Underground and a bus at midday Thursday in a chilling but far less bloody replay of the suicide bombings that killed 56 people two weeks ago.

Only one person was reported injured in the nearly simultaneous lunch-hour blasts, British Transport Police said, but they caused major shock and disruption in the capital and were hauntingly similar to the July 7 bombings by four attackers.

Panicked and screaming commuters fled the three affected Underground stations, sometimes leaving behind their shoes.

Prime Minister Tony Blair appealed for calm and said it was too early to tell who was responsible.

"We can't minimize incidents such as this," he said at a joint news conference with the Australian prime minister at No. 10 Downing St. "They're done to scare people, to frighten them and make them worried." read more...

cynic of the day...

London bombings [just as any other bombings] --have to be understood --and not ]revered.

We're facing a new type of 'street crime'..global crime ; if Bush had tried to make 'War on Terror' the 'new matrix' of crimewave --we should have been better prepared. And, he [Bush] should have been an 'intelligence officer' in order to succeed. [He didn't , he hasn't, he's not.]

Why London, are on the 'air 24/7--when it's been a long-time of bombings given the [Irish R A] attempts etal in the past.

We have to come to a better understanding and a better way of 'sophisticated tactics of dealing w/ these type of crimes. [terrorist acts]..can the 'world move forward and start dealing w/ terrorists just like other criminals --and 'minimize' the fear factor and get off the air [24/7] and stop capitalizing and politicizing --and war mongering off these people. ---
[perhaps the media is to blame]--

Everything nowadays has a 'press conference' attached to it; -- child molestation, runaway individuals, terror acts, missing teens, hurricanes, blah, blah, blah]

[Terrorists win everytime normal populations become 'hysterical']

Third world countries have of come 'age' w/ barbic acts and violence. --Just yesterday (2) young men 18yrs/and under were whipped 228 times and hung in public in Iran...duh!

what do we freakin do! ---

Bush/Blair are getting 'visual' messages from their 'freedom fighters' they [terrorists] are totally pissed-off of the 'invading of their nation's and insulting of their religion' --learn the subject first --then deal w/ the street affects.

Bush/ Bliar will die trying to stop terrorists w/ this 'offensive, stupid and stubborn mentality. Bush/Blair get yourself a 'terrorist analyst' task force and increase the 'number of human intelligence' --and please let the CIA/FBI/British Intelligence due there jobs!!

Dear Cynic, Not all that

Dear Cynic,

Not all that cynical if you ask me. Once the bombs start going off here, perhaps we might reconsider the flypaper strategy. Probably not given how idiodic, apathetic and socially passive the citizens of nation are prone to be.

Thank god this can't happen here

because we all know that the US is invincible and everyone in the world loves us.

Yes god save the united

Yes god save the united states and all the rest of that business.

Too convienent !!

Dud bombings the day after Bush trys to scare America into submission concerning the Patriot act , Damn , Rove is good !!

STOP BITCHIN !!
START A REVOLUTION !!!!!!

Revolution? I used to want

Revolution? I used to want that. I still do in some ways, but not one with bloodshed. However, it takes more than capitalized words and exlamation points. Revolutions happen on their own, because of a confluence of events. Until the U.S. reaches such a critical mass, a revolution will not happen.

when are people going to wake up?

Bush has made this terrorism problem 100 times worse.

I'm not convinced they ever

I'm not convinced they ever will recognize that fact. It will take another terrorist attack in the US for that to happen. Unfortunatly, everything else is abstract the that average american sitting in front of the nightly news...

2nd attack in England is a

2nd attack in England is a good plan for the "terrorists." They want to divide the coalition of the bribed and coerced and they are succeeding. If pressure keeps up on England - the English aren't happy about Blair getting them in this illegal war - maybe they will demand that they leave Iraq and protect their own boarders - Geez, if only we were that smart. The "terrorists" could succeed in Britian pulling troops out of Hell (sorry, Iraq) because Blair has announced that he wants to pull the troops out by next year. Let the British take their troops home and then let Americans face the DRAFT or MAYBE America will DEMAND that we leave Iraq.

if thats what it takes,

if thats what it takes, thats what it takes.

Major backfire

Hey! Wait a minute. This was not in Karl's plan. The new SCOTUS nomination was supposed to divert the press away from CIA leak story, but not focus it all over again toward how unsafe the world is now that Bush kicked the whacked the Al-Quaeda beehive.

I like the beehive analogy!

I like the beehive analogy!

So do I. It's a perfect

So do I. It's a perfect description of what GW has accomplished in
his overrated "war on terror".
Good job, GM! ;-)

Terra

Submarine   USS Wahoo  ss238

Remember when Terra was fun?

PanAm 103
TWA 880
Khobar bombing
Munich Olympics
Iran hostages
USS Stark hit by Iraq missile

Terror or the likes has been around for centuries
no one person (GW Bush) will ever get rid of it.
Although he likes to think that.
I am still not convinced that Sept 11th wasnt
a CIA operation

I am tired of "War on Terror" its obnoxious and
you are right, its a beehive, with no honey for us,
And we are the ones getting waxed

The Stark? That's something

The Stark? That's something I haven't heard about in years! But alas, that was in the day when Saddam was a buddy of Raygun.

the day after...

now a 'terrorist' and/or 'suicide bomber' has been shot dead [London]...since the 'common policeman' in London don't carry guns , like they do in the U.S. ---the special 'terror force' were the ones who shot this guy dead.

'Where's the stun gun'??...and why not in the leg ---a live 'bomber' is more useful than a dead one...[like in Gitmo]??

And, when are the 'secret police' going to reveal number of explosives found on the body --or were they planted??---

Terror TV is getting to me big-time!!

.

.

I know, I'm pretty sick of

I know, I'm pretty sick of terror too. Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror, Terror!!

NO MORE TERROR! Aren't you sick of hearing that word? Why don't we change our middle east foreign policy, stop selling weapons to the isrealis, stop builing bases in iraq, withdraw troops from saudi arabia, and DEVELOP a renewable power source so we can kick our addiction to the FINTITE OIL ECONOMY! This is why I hate Bush. All he cares about are quarterly profits, not long term global stability.

just another paranoid control freak...

Suspect shot dead 'had no bomb'
By Adam Fresco, Rajeev Syal and Steve Bird

ARMED undercover police chased and shot dead a man directly linked to the London bombers’ terror cell after he ran into a South London Underground station and tried to board a train.
It is understood that he was found not to have been carrying a bomb.

Three officers had followed him to Stockwell station after he emerged from a nearby house that police believed to be connected with Thursday’s attempted bombings.

London 7/7 Terror Suspect Linked to British Intelligence?

Call me a conspiracy theorists but doesn't anyone else find some of the facts in the London bombing strange? Like the photo of the 7/7 bombers - only the 4 bombers were in the photo,no one else was in the picture. I've been to London and I would think that it is ALMOST impossible for a camera to take their photo and NO ONE else be in the photograph especially during rush hour. OK, the 7/7 bombers photo taken at Luton Station but STILL no one else in the photo? I guess no one rides the train into London.

7/7 Bombers

The 2nd bombing of London hit around lunch time but NO ONE was on the bus? No one in the subway walkways? I don't buy it!
