Rush's inhumanity towards Londoner's
This past Thursday, I was listening to Al Frankin on Air America and heard a comment by Lumbaugh. In it this cretin says that the terrorists "blew it!" They-blew-it? 5o innocent Londoners died! At least 50 families and as that many friends of the victim’s are now in emotional ruin and "they blew it"? How insensitive can someone be! How dare that dope fiend, right wing moron say that not enough innocent people died! Oh yes, we in the human world can scream and flail about what "it" said but there must be something else that must to be done to show our outrage about “it’s” comments. I propose that we in the real world boycott the products of the sponsors of that idiot's show. Hopefully, someone in the Murdock bunker will get a little upset and curb that animal in what “it” spouts on the radio. Join me in righting this gross injustice to the victims of Thursday’s attack.

congressional hearings
Congress has held hearings about steroid use of athletes and the effect it has on impressionable children. why doesnt it hold hearings into the right wing talk radio hosts use of drugs and the effects it has on impressionable red neck idiots? i would offer my opinion that children are less impressionable than a mentally retarded limbaugh "Ditto Head".

In the USA alone I believe we have Americans shooting each other dead at the rate of over 10,000 a year. (Before the assault weapons ban on a bad year, and including suicides I believe it was over 40,000 dead.) We run over each other while drinking and driving at over 10,000 a year. I believe hospital mistakes kill over 90,000 a year. ETC.
I think worldwide, if you include death due to starvation AND poor water you are up to 60,000 dead a DAY.

documentary
i saw a documentary that covered the subject of lizards crushing people to death recently. the production values werent very good but it was very informative and had a catchy jingle at the beginning sequence. it was called "Land of the Lost", i believe.

Jim, I've got all the raw mortality data from the WHO. To use it, I'm going to dump it into MS Access database. Once I have it there, we can play with the data any number of ways. This is going to take some time.
On the otherhand, if you want year by year worldwide mortality reports, the WHO has them already prepared going back to 1979.

He was essentially agreeing to what Ken Livingston said about the bombings on 7/7, but what then followed made no sense unless you stood back and read (or listened to) everything he said.
I had to read the transcript from Rush's show when I heard that clip on Jerry Springer's show. I know that Rush's politics are all mixed up and wrong, but I for one minute don't believe that he is an inhuman monster that doesn't give a hoot about X people dying in London.
In essence he just had an appalling choice of words (or missed out a few extra words that should have been said) to describe the situation. He tried to "clarify" this on Monday but rather than recognize his mistake he turned it into another "liberal attack". Rush's words made for great radio on Jerry Springer's radio show, that's for sure.
IMO Rush could take lessons from Ken Livingston, or he could just enroll himself at the to be founded BBC College of Journalism.

I think you are making a mistake about Rush.
I don't care what he meant
If this were an isolated incident of Rush being an asshole, then fine. But this is just another example in a long line of vileness that he spews on a daily basis. The guy gets paid millions of dollars a year to speak on the public airwaves, and as such one would think that he has the intelligence to mentally review what is about to lurch out of his pie hole.
He should be be held accountable for what he says. Isn't personal responsibility a republican mantra? How about living by it for once. God knows he wouldn't give Harry Reid, the Clintons or John Kerry the benefit of the doubt in similar circumstances.

the odds of dying in a terrorist attack on U.S. soil from the inception of our country untill sept. 11th were 0%,the year of the terrorist attck at the tower, the odds for the average citizen were .001%,and since the attacks the odds have been 0%. take into account that the .001 percent odds given for the year of the trade center attacks take into account onlly american citizens alive that year, many people have lived and died natural deaths in the years before, during and after the attacks. i dont have that data. but if you average out the 3,000 deaths to total EVER americans, the odds would probablly be somewhere around .0000001 percent chance of dying in an american terror attack.

Rush must be an overt operative for this brain damaged administration. If someone "outed" (not offed) him and he no longer had a show, the air quality in the US would improve. He is of the belief that Democrats promote abortions. He is of course chiding Hillary for saying that an abortion is a tragedy for all. How many children has he fathered? Has he actually become pregnant and had to make a decision as hard as this? He only worries about what color pills to take on each day of the week. I know that he really has a feminine side that he is so in touch with. He should just shut up and talk about the things that he knows. Since he doesn't know anything, he wouldn't have a show. He can go home and adjust his own little sleep station to whatever level he needs. Lord knows, no one else would ever want to get that near him to fight over the dial with him. I really think that Rush is using some heavy duty psychedelics. He has said the most unbelievable thing today. He said that people like Bush because he doesn't lie. You heard me right. Rush wants us to believe that George tells the truth. What truth has he told ever? He is turning the White House and the Presidency into Fantasia with Turdblossom in a starring role. If there are people out here who believe that Bush is an honest man, I don't think that I will ever be on the same page with them. They are probably the same people that see dead people. George Washington only chopped down the cherry tree. This George imploded and felled buildings and is trying desperately to turn out the lights of democracy in this country. Wake up! Wake up! Wherever you are! This sure isn't the country that it used to be. Can't I click my red slippers together three times and boot El Rushbo far,far over the rainbow? I hope that Rush takes some and gets one of those painful side effects. Then he gets the painful side effect caught in the sleep station bed. I can only hope that the first responder to this emergency would be a liberal who has gotten really tired of Rush's insults day after day. Rush wouldn't be able to ditto himself into eternity anymore. Since Air America moved, I have had to listen to Rush a couple of times when driving and his diatribes have messed with my mind. Sorry.
