Can someone tell me?
Recentlly several P2P (peer to peer file share networks) were shutdown here in the states. They were opperating against the law and thier shutdown isnt my concern.What concerns me is that the department of homeland security is being credited with these shutdowns. What is the dept. of homeland security doing shuting down file share website? i nor any one i know have ever been attacked by a copy of star wars, or a bootleg recording of puff the magic dragon. can any one postulate on what and why the involvement of the homeland security force?

In order for the Republicans to give us the limited government they bitched and moaned about for decades they must crack down on what we think. What is not to get?
Remember Tom Delay
Remember Tom Delay used Homeland Security to go after the democrat representatives who left Texas to try to stop reapportionment ( jerrymandering)? The repubs seem to think HS is their private police force. This is just another example of their misusing funds and personel for their own purposes. It will continue until we the people put up such a fuss that they have to stop it.

Of course its thier private police force. And they were clever enough to call it Homland Security instead of Gestapo. HS sounds a lot better to the public than SS.
