I love the hypocrites in the Bush administration. How dare they speak to Putin about needing to have a transparent government – when has Bush ever been truthful to the public? How dare this administration yell about Putin rolling back election/appointments when Bush wants to surpass the “check and balances” of our system to appoint his gestpo people to the federal judicial bench. I think I see why Bush said that he looked into Putin’s eyes and saw his soul – they have the same soul! How dare Americans scream that Putin is becoming a dictator – what in the hell is the President?

views, at least they are his. I liked his critique of how basically imperialistic the American government has become. He mentioned the election of 2004, how it was not Democratic since the Supreme Court Justices made a selection of the president after the fautly vote.

Bush screwed up so many times I do not see how he could even look at Putin and question anything he does. I wish Dan Rather would come back to the evening news, things do not seem the same. I was not a big evening news watcher, but when I did turn on the tube at 6:30 there was something respectfully journalistic in his tone, rhetoric, look, timbre of voice, rhythym of words and good looks

There will be no replacing him in my opinion.
