Reid Calls Bush 'A Loser,' Then Apologizes
(AP) - Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid called President Bush "a loser" during a civics discussion with a group of teenagers at a high school on Friday.
"The man's father is a wonderful human being," Reid, D-Nev., told students at Del Sol High School when asked about the president's policies. "I think this guy is a loser."

While we'll have no argument here that Bush is a LOSER, this faux pau will provide mucho ammo for the gun totin' right wing Christian fascist extremist types...
Jeez, I love it, callin' Smirk a loser, but for the Minority Leader of the Senate to call Smirkola a loser in front of high school students? Then apologize? He'll be crucified as a "liberal commie weasel" for denigrating our dear "Maximum MisLeader...

He should've said
Bush could "go f*** himself", or "Bush is a real a**hole". That's language the White House likes.
Harry calls 'em like he sees 'em
What's the big deal? Show me where Harry said anything that wasn't true. If anything, I think he was quite restrained. He could have said something like:
Bush is an infantile, moronic, corrupt, mollycoddled, irresponsible, nefarious, little puke
and could not have been sued for libel. And don't forget that his wife Laura is a potty-mouthed, sex-starved, botox-filled babysitter.
The more I hear from Reid, the more I admire him. My only gripe is that he should NOT have apologized. Huzzah!

Harry Reid for President....
FDR didn't think twice calling it like he saw it...
and in the Bush administration --most of those morons are hardcore politically corrupt...Reid should not have apologized --he meant it and he makes sense and parts with most Americans.
The Repugs continue to slander Dems as 'spineless'...because they raise the stake and ensure Dems 'go defensive'...and this the way Repugs like to fight --the 'repug hatchet machine'...needs to be destroyed --their arrogance and hypocrisy is over the line.
Lately, the Dems are getting more of 'opposition party'...well someone has to do it --the 'People Party'.
So where is the problem?
Saying he is a loser in this sense is being objective. The other side can throw it back by vague rebuttals.
Saying he is a liar is an unrefutable fact.
Stick to the facts and Bush gets creamed.
So he calls Bush's hatchet man and apologizes? OK, but that must have not been easy.

Reid should have stood by his words. This president is a moron.
The truth hurts
Bush is a loser. Unless the earth has started to rotate backwards, he has lost two elections. Just because the Republicans own the voting machines,have no conscience or morality,and Bush was declared the winner, he still lost. I don't know what is wrong with name calling. The Republicans don't mind their manners. They never apologize. George Bush has never made any mistake in his life just ask him. Next time, Harry should call him a cheater, a deserter, a coward, and a desecrater of the constitution and American democracy. He wouldn't have to apologize for any of these names. The truth will set us free.
