It's a big day for Bulgegate! A top NASA scientist... a spy store owner... and an audio expert all strongly suspect Bush was wired!

Will the reporters traveling with Bush - or the White House press corps - stop accepting Bushit?

Kevin Burger, Salon.com: NASA Photo Expert Says Bush Was Wired

Dr. Robert M. Nelson, however, was not laughing. He knew the president was not telling the truth. And Nelson is neither conspiracy theorist nor midnight blogger. He's a senior research scientist for NASA and for Caltech's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and an international authority on image analysis...

A professional physicist and photo analyst for more than 30 years, he speaks earnestly and thoughtfully about his subject. 'I am willing to stake my scientific reputation to the statement that Bush was wearing something under his jacket during the debate,' he says. 'This is not about a bad suit'...

Nelson stresses that he's not certain what lies beneath the president's jacket. He offers, though, 'that it could be some type of electronic device -- it's consistent with the appearance of an electronic device worn in that manner.' The image of lines coursing up and down the president's back, Nelson adds, is 'consistent with a wire or a tube.

David Lazarus, San Francisco Chronicle: Spy Shop Owner Says Bush Was Wired

Jason Woodside, owner of San Francisco's International Spy Shop, the Bay Area's sole purveyor of espionage and counterespionage gear, could only shake his head when told of Bush's explanation. 'A poorly tailored shirt,' he said. 'It's possible. But it looks like a wireless induction system. It looks like this.' Woodside held up a picture of a small, rectangular receiver, about the same size as the device Bush is alleged to have worn. It comes with an antenna that's looped around the neck and a wireless earpiece...

He pointed at a picture from the debate, in which the material of the president's jacket appears taut and unpuckered. 'Here's the receiver,' Woodside said, tracing the outline of the rectangular bulge on Bush's back. 'Here's the antenna,' he said, moving his finger along what appears to be a line from the bulge to Bush's right shoulder. Woodside nodded to himself. 'My gut tells me he's got something on him.

Colin Green, Bush conspiracy theory details filled out

Some have discounted the whole theory stating that radio receivers are far smaller than the bulge, which is true, except that if he really were receiving an audio feed it would almost certainly be an encrypted digital signal via a spread spectrum rf carrier - why? because otherwise anyone could listen in and prove the feed's existence, also a spread spectrum carrier is hard or impossible to pick up on with a standard radio scanner or frequency analyzer, and they are far harder signals to 'jam'. Receiving such a signal and converting it to audio cannot be done within a miniturised earpiece, a second device would be required to receive and decode the signal and then relay it to the earpiece, probably via a very low power inductance loop similar to those used in cinemas, a low power loop would prevent pickup by nearby microphones. To power all of that for 90 minutes would require a reasonable quantity of batteries. So all of this speculation ties in with the bulge and the wire that is visible running up his right shoulder (to an inductance loop as close to his ear as possible):

If we follow this theory through the bulge would be the receiver/relayer, the wire up the right shoulder is to an inductance loop, perhaps in his collar, and it also looks to me that there is a wire travelling down his back, which would correspond to the wire seen behind his tie. This wire that we can see is actually quite prominent by way of its thickness, say 5mm. Such thickness would only normally be used to convey power - from a battery pack somewhere on his person, to the receiver on his back. Also note that the tie wire disappears into the left hand side of Bush's jacket - the same side as the wire seen down his lower back.

I also believe Bush is wired.

To give a supplementary proof : please publish photos of Bush his back in other events and all of these (I am sure) will have no mark on his back. Curious !!

Of course Bush was wired

I have no doubt whatsoever that Bush was wired for those debates, it's just another example of the cheating and trickery that can be expected from Bush and the other liars and conmen all around him.

It was an astounding, twilight zone event. So much so because no one, not the media, nor Kerry's campaign, nor the liberal press mentioned anything about this absolute gall! Except for "Mother Jones" and now "Extra/Fair," and "N.Y. Daily News" frontpage, no media outlet paid much attention, considering the gravity of this assault on our great democracy. Maybe they were too embarrassed that this Dumbo is our president.

Did anyone else see this? A CNN video clip of Bush on stage 2/22(I think)with about 15 European Heads of State and his body language is distinctive. They were all moving, gesturing and he was still, with his arms held stiffly at both sides and his center of gravity slightly pitched forward---I saw this all on a subliminal body-language level. But then I noticed his jacket, which was buttoned, was draping in three large winkles on each side of the button, so that he looked unkempt, as if he'd slept in it. Only after the image had dissappeared from the screen did I realize--he'd need to stand like that and his jacket would be deformed from its normal tailoring lines if he's supporting the box or the wire or whatever it is. Can someone access this video and analyze?

If Bush is wired, plug him in at Abu Graib. We treat people so well, maybe Bush needs to have a dose of Gonzoles policy.

The device Orwell-Bush was wearing is called a Phonack "Bug in the Ear", used to be based in Chicago.

With 2 way radio and 'invisible' ear-piece cost about $1500. Look in public FEC records for a campaign reciept, they may been dumb enough not to shread it.

It is now called "Invisity" and is shown here: www.thehightechstore.com/buginear.html

Americans have become so complacent...

Blame it on the Tailor. Review the transcript, at one point Orwell-Bush says "ok, ok, let me finish", and was clearly speaking to no one present, as nobody had interrupted him, (except maybe Karen Hughes or Karl Rove on his earpiece).
