The Nanny is back....

This bull-dyke looking bitch is a match to Condi Rice --Bush prefers surrounding himself with unattractive (mother-looking) women.

Karen Hughes is 'coming back to baby-sit George'...for the most part.

Although her purpose is to 'PR' and start the ground-work for the 'reconstruction and face-lift' of the American presence in the Middle East.

Karen Hughes is not an 'ambassador' and simply scares people --I'm actually happy with the choice --she could be mistaken for a man.

Whatever Bush does now to repair the 'integrity and American presence' anywhere will do more good than not. If this is Bush's way of 'damage control' for the last 4.5 years --putting Hughes at the forefront will ensure Bush's downfall...good move.

I mean I dont like to call bad moves good moves. Cynicism not too, necessarily. But how in the world will Hughes convince any muslim? Why should anyone appoint Wolfowitz to the World Bank?

GW gives little rational thought to

his appointees. He stacks the deck with his friends,
regardless of their qualifications for the positions.
Perhaps on some subconcious level he's trying
to ensure his failure as the "leader of the free world".

heebie jeebie's

I keep getting this eerie feeling that Bush believes the propaganda more than anyone. I get the feeling someone is spoon feeding him all the hype (a.k.a. BS) and he's like a sponge just soaking it in and squeezing it out. At one time I thought he was one of the people dishing it out, but I am more and more getting the feeling that he hasn't a clue that he is the tool for the neo-cons to get their deeds done.
The outcome of all this is that he cannot recognize when it is time to let someone retire, and when to broaden one's circle of "friends". He just keeps turning to the same individuals over and over whether or not they have shown any ability to do the job.

Dubya is very much like Raygu

Dubya is very much like Raygun in this respect. He has a circle of "minders" who pump him up, and flatter him into doing their will. This country is actually being controlled (badly) by a cabal of neocons intent on imposing their ideas of a "new world order" on the entire planet.
