Canada is not the answer, here is the ANSWER
please my fellow democrats, let us not be discouraged by the result of this election. canada is not the answer, that is exactly what the republicans want us to do, to surrender. we are democrats, the party of FDR, Kennedy, Clinton, we are strong just like the leaders we elected. we dont chicken out from a fight, we look forward to it. setbacks dont discourage us, it inspires us to work harder the next time. now is the perfect time to do that. let us unite as a party. organize, organize, organize. let us show these motherfuckers we can muster greater numbers than we did this round and ultimately beat their ass. in two years the midterm elections will take place, this is the opportunity for us do just that. let us work in defeating all 15 republican senators who will be seeking reelection. Sen. Chaffe of R.I should be preassured to switch to democrat or face defeat. all the blue states should be represented by democratic senators, congressman and governor. that also includes california, the gropenator should be preassured to switch party or face defeat in 06. Let us start searching for the best candidates as early as now. and of course we will need the cash to run the best campaign, so let us start raising money now. instead of posting messages about how disappointed we are on the election and how stupid the republicans are let us post messages that call for democrats to unite, organize and raise money early. winners dont look at defeat and get discourgaed by it, they look at it get be inspired to work harder the next time. the entire west coast is now solidly democratic, so is the entire new england and upper midwest. let us hold on to this and challenge the republicans in states that almost went for kerry and gore the last two elections, that is Florida, Ohio, Iowa. The south west is facing heavy hispanic immigration, that looks very good for us. we should concentrate on Nevada, New Mexico, Colorado and Arizona and in due time we can turn them blue. i believe with this new states in mind we can easily win 06 and 08. the republican party is a party of mostly white people whereas democrats are diverse and favored by most iimigrants and non-whites. in 10 years they will comprise the majority of America. and when that time comes, the republicans better be ready to go to canada or they will all face defeat big time. go democrats, we can make it, we will make it, we can show the world that we can do better than this and now is the perfect time to do it. organize, organize, organize.

to pggo08 just to let you know, we liberal democrats do have the mental capacity to realize what you just posted even before it reached your mind. we are not dumb, and that exactly is the difference between us and them. first of all what we are protesting is the way that our president is handling this war, clearly we disagree with it and we dont think he is running a smart war against the terrorists. we need a fresh start, new leaders who are cridible around the world, and most importantly a plan that this administration never had. let me qoute john kerry "we will hunt down and kill the terrorist wherever they may go". on another point, during the campaign john kerry clearly said that we should not negotiate with terrorists and that is the exact democratic position. lastly we liberal democrats also believe that our president did mislead us into going to war in iraq. now i dont know where your getting your facts but you are just completely wrong. but their is one thing i agree with you though, that america needs to unite, republicans, democrats, independents alike. we are all americans and who else will defend us but ourselves, and for that reason we need to unite. but this doesnt mean that we will act like robots and slaves and do whatever our president tells us to do. dissent is the greatest form of patriotism. our forefathers established the three branches of government because they wanted check and balances in the government. absolute power corrupts absolutely. and for this reason we will continue to ask questions, voice our opinions and oppose whatever we see as wrong with the policies of the administration. now we dont do this just because we want to, we do this because we want america to succeed. to criticize what we see as mistakes so they can be fixed is a great way of doing our part to help our country. this is the liberal democrat way and the patriotic way.
