Petition

After four years of George Bush's disastrous War in Iraq, overwhelming majorities of both Americans and Iraqis want U.S. troops to safely withdraw.

Bush's War has already cost Americans over 3,220 lives and $409 billion. An estimated 655,000 Iraqis have died from the civil war Bush unleashed.

Because George Bush's War is consuming lives and dollars at a horrifying rate, Bush needs Congress to give him another $93 billion "Supplemental Appropriation" until the next budget in November.

Rep. Barbara Lee's Amendment to the "Supplemental" would restrict Iraq-related funds exclusively for a "fully-funded withdrawal" so our troops could safely leave.

I strongly urge you to support Barbara Lee's Amendment, and to vote against the "Supplemental" if her Amendment is not included.
