In February 2004, Senate Republican leaders promised a full investigation of the "intelligence" lies that led to George Bush's invasion of Iraq. They completed Phase I and tried to pin the blame on the CIA and other intelligence agencies, in order to deflect blame away from George Bush and Dick Cheney. But despite a written promise to investigate Bush and Cheney's roles in Phase II, this report was never produced. On November 1 2005, Democrats forced the Senate into closed session to demand the completion of Phase II. We thank Senate Democrats for insisting on a full investigation, and we demand the truth from Senate Republicans - including sworn testimony from George Bush, Dick Cheney, Condoleezza Rice, and the rest of the White House Iraq Group - Andrew Card, Karl Rove, Karen Hughes, James Wilkinson, Mary Matalin, Nick Calio, and Stephen Hadley.
The question is: "Should the Senate Finish Its Investigation of Iraq Lies?".
