CONSUMER FINANCIAL PROTECTION: WHY ESSENTIAL
Regulating And Monitoring Financial Businesses: An Essential Key To Your Life
Before the TD Bank "gliche" situation I felt that I was a lone voice crying out in the wilderness of apathy. For twenty years or so, my credit union took money out of my account with out authorization, charged me "insufficient fees" after taking the money, had no specific customer service information, refused to cash my checks, refused to release money during ATM transactions, utilized a teller phone and online banking system that was always failing, harassed me and tried to get me arrested when I continually complained. The credit union recently closed both my accounts and banned me from using any of its resources. I was placed in a "shares" account that I can't do anything with. The National Credit Union Administration did nothing to assist me. I had no choice but to keep complaining. My complaining led to the setting up of the credit union's "Supervisory Committee" to supposedly address concerns. Until I complained to my State Representative and the NCUA this credit union attempted to ignore me. The Supervisory Committee began a campaign to get me either arrested or ousted from credit union membership. This information was revealed to my family by a credit union employee.
Hopefully the Consumer Financial Protection Agency will have more power than Consumer Affairs or the Better Business Bureau. These agencies have helped me in the past. With the CFPA, I will be able to file a complaint as I have with the other agencies and they will take it from there. Credit Unions, Banks, and Financial establishments will be motivated by the CFPA's presence to conduct business in a lawful an ethical fashion.
Please contact the President and your Congresspersons to vote CFPA legislation into law!

ALAN GRAYSON TAKES ON THE BANKSTERS
spktruth200: There is a youtube video where Rep. Alan Grayson is questioning the Federal Reserves Lead Attorney. Grayson asked "where is our money", who did the Fed give it too. You can see the attorney squirm as he avoids the question. It is time these banksters and the Federal Reserve were audited. Ron Paul is absolutely correct, Grayson and other progressives are correct...The american people want to know where the hell is our money?
Elizabeth Warren says, she can not find what they did with the $780 billion Paulson gave out? We have been robbed american without a gun...time to get out our baseball bats and take on Wall Street, the insurance companies and other multi national corpses stealing americas treasury. A new party...lets just clean out the one we have...run Grayson and Warren for Pres...and VP.
Major Financial Reform Needed...
There is an urgent need to reform the US banking industry. Here is why: 1) they always outsmart politicians (we badly need smart or real politicians also) 2) executives get paid lots of money because they were hired to analyze how to easily access federal reserves, find the loopholes, and drain the general public's bank accounts 3) these executives should not be the ones benefiting from peoples' hard work.
As of today, 1 foreclosure property gets 30 to 40 offers. Banks are either retaliating against the government or always waiting for cash offers. Eitherway it is another thing that must be regulated. Had these offers been accepted and closed escrows, sales taxes will be generated and the economy will start having positive domino effect. Realtors, loan officers, roofers, home inspectors, gardener, cleaning ladies, and so on... will have income again to buy at the mall.
This is an ultimate result of a corporate (banking, developer, and ...) runned government and it must really be undone.
regulations:
regulations;they have always been there, just not enforced. The reason that these policies or regulations have not been enforced is because big business, corporations, and the wealthy few have enacted policies that restricts the public arena to vastly increase there wealth.
