Author, blogger and activists David Swanson will appear at the Book Shelf in Morgantown September 7th to sign his book "Daybreak: Undoing the Imperial Presidency and Forming a More Perfect Union.

Please come out and join the author and local activists in a discussion of this important summary of Bush-era abuses.

A little background: Swanson was one of the earliest activists and writers to discuss the Downing Street
Memos, the smoking gun that showed that the Bush administration decided to invade Iraq much earlier than the official government line.

As co-founder of the anti-war coalition AfterDowningStreet.org, he led a noble if unsuccessful campaign to impeach President George W. Bush
and Vice President Richard B. Cheney.

Swanson has been at the forefront of campaigns to end the war in Iraq and punish those who are responsible for the death and destruction the war caused.

Swanson is the Washington Director of Democrats.com, and a board member of Progressive Democrats of America, the Backbone Campaign, and Voters for Peace.
